In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

I'm afraid you can only do this with a computer or iOS device which is signed into iCloud in the Preferences/Settings/Control Panel. You can't do it from the iCloud website.
Am I right in assuming you are an ex-MobileMe subscriber who has had free extra storage, due to expire tomorrow? If so the procedure is different from the normal upgrade procedure.

I'm afraid that you will have to find a suitable Mac or iOS device and use that to sign in - you are not likely to be able to do this on a hotel-provided computer. If you can get to an Apple Store then you could make an appointment with the 'Genius' and ask them to do this.
If you are able to find a way of doing this on someone else's computer, make sure to sign out afterwards and then go to http://appleied.apple.com and change your password.
You will need to sign out and back in on your devices once you have done this. -

You can sync and download many different types of content on your device. Some types of content (such as music and videos) typically take more space than others (such as notes and books). The amount of space taken by an app depends on the app's purpose; complex or graphically intense apps usually take more space than simpler apps.
If your device is near its capacity, you can remove some of the less used content to make room for more.

I have Elements 12. It's an upgrade in most respects from the old CS2 I used for years. Except there is apparently no measuring tool. How can this be; is there a plug-in, or will Adobe fix the problem? Anyone know a way around this glaring omission?
Hello again. When I said PSE 12 was an upgrade on CS2, I meant that simply from an informal point of view - and it is: it's better software in most respects. In expert mode, the features and functions are much the same as in the CS2 I had before, but enhanced and slicker. Less 16 bit colour depth and a few other things of course. Unfortunately, as it now transpires, the "few other things" has turned out to include the measuring feature.
Thanks for the work-around - only problem is ... to what Info Panel are you referring when using the line tool? I've looked around but can't see the line length being shown anywhere. Thanks in advance for any light you might be able to cast on it.
Incidentally, I upgraded my written-off Canon D5 MK II with a D6. To me it's an upgrade - it's a much better camera - though by the letter of the law, the strict upgrade path would be to a 5D MK III. One can use the word "upgrade" in this informal (but entirely meaningful) sense, I hope, without being sent to prison!! -

My Pro Tools program was damaged by the Creative Cloud system.
I was invited to install and try the Cloud,but it did me a great dis-service and has set me back in Production and personal time trying to get my pro Tools working again. Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

I need to reinstall my Final Cut Express. I have a version of 3.5 and then an upgrade to 4. Somehow I have managed to mislay the serial No for 3.5 so cannot install. Does anyone know how I can resolve this.
If version 4 is an upgrade only, you will have to have the serial number of the 3.5 full version.
If you can't find it try contacting Apple with your proff of purchase, they may be able to help.

If that doesn't work, you're going to need to call AppleCare and have them remove your phone from the system.

Windows do not repect the digital EXIF specification. Use a free viewer http://www.irfanview.net/ for Windows.

Correct. Applications designed to run on the old PPC Macs (which Apple stopped making in 2005) cannot run on Mountain Lion.

Most of us get 20g storage with our plan. Is there a way to pay for and increase the storage?

I assume the LR 5 storage is a different storage with also 20 gig I believe. I would assume you can not upgrade that either.

We don't want you to have to waste any more time than needed. Exactly what information are you trying to access within the cloud storage?
