I upgraded my iphone and I cant get mail anymore

I cant get my e-mail anymore on my phone since the up grade my phone is nothing more then a paper weight now , can I get this dumb upgrade off my phone

I have the same thing happening to mine. I have an iPhone 3G & I had it connected to my home wifi & it just kept saying it wasn't connected. So I forgot the network & reset my router & it still won't connect. I put in the password & it says that it is the wrong password. I went to a place in town & the wifi didn't have a password & I tried to connect, but it said it was unable to connect. I have no clue what's wrong with it.

Was this book downloaded using iBooks, or from another application? If it was from iBooks you will need to install that application to delete it.

This most likely means that either the server is unavailable, or your email settings are corrupted. Try deleting the account, rebooting the phone, and adding it back.

If you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud, on your phone you should be able go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and enter the Apple ID associated with your iCloud account. So in order to update your iPhone, you may need to turn off Find My iPhone. This can be done through the iCloud settings, and more information on those settings can be found right here:

i have tried to restore via itunes as i would have usually, half way through i get an error code 3194 pop up.....and yes i do back up.

Not true. You get one and only one download.
In some instances, itunes has allowed another download to a few. This is not the norm.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

iDevices do not sync with a date... they sync with the computer.
If the user has restored the device using an older backup, simply restore it with a more current backup.
