I upgraded my iphone to ios 6 but now it isn't working with itunes and my itunes will not upgrade. It is stuck at 10.6.1 and my macbook is not compatible with 10.7

Hi guyz just fixed mine just now, I used an app named iREB please refer to the below link. Make sure youre iphone is plugged in to your USB then launch the app as admin. As soon as the app is running go to the "Recovery Mode Loop Fixer" tab & hit the "Set Auto-Boot True (Fixes 1015 errors / Recovery Loops). It will restart your iPhone in just a moment & get you back to your homescreen.
I hope this will help those whos undergoing this horrifying iPhone problem.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I already turned on Send as SMS and it still doesnt work. I have turned off imessage to see if that would help and restarted the phone a few times.

If you're phone is in recovery mode, then all your data is already wiped off. you'll need to proceed if you want to use your phone.
However after it is done recovering, you can restore back from your backp.

Why isn't the iMessage working on my phone? Up until 1:45pm today it was fine, but now it isn't working.

It should be back up now, they had a system outage. Reset your iPhone.

I had to restore my iPhone to factory settings and now I can't sync with iTunes.

I had to restore my phone and I was able to use the most recent backup. However, when I plug into iTunes, it keeps asking if I want to restore from a backup or start as a new iPhone. I have already restored from the backup twice, but the message won't go away. How can I sync with iTunes?

It's weird that you have to restore from backup, and then choose to start as a new phone. But I didn't lose ANYTHING when I did it that way! Thank goodness!

The only person that can help you is the prior owner with Apple ID and password.
Without that it is completely worthless.
If you can't get the Apple ID and password then return for a refund of your money.

I just found another discussion about the control center swipe. I now am able to use my airport express.

iOS 7 moved the AirPlay icon to Control Center.
To show Control Center, make sure your Home screen is displayed (press the Home button once), then swipe up from the bottom.

Confirmed issue with my iPhone 4 (iOS6) and Airport Extreme (7.6.1). When I connect to the Wifi network, it pops up with a "login" page from apple.com that is not found. I can browse apple.com through that window, but if I hit cancel, wifi disconnects.
Appears to be iOS6/Airport combo specific as MBP and iPad still running iOS5 have no issues. I am also able to connect the iPhone 4 to another wireless router (Verizon FIOS) with no issues.

2) Click on Sign in to manage your Apple ID
3) Click on Manage your Apple ID
4) Type in your Apple ID and Password and click Sign in
5) Select Addresses from the left hand side
6) Click Edit
7) In country region type United Kingdom
8) Click Save at the bottom of the page
9) Go to your Apple Device Settings - General - International - Region Format - Select United Kingdom
10) Press the Home button
11) Log into Facetime and iMessage with your CORRECT APPLE ID AND PASSWORD

I have just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS6, and now it won´t sync with itunes. An error comes up telling me that I need iTunes version 10.6.3 or better, but that is the one that is installed on my Mac

I followed the thread and used the link provided to download iTunes version 10.6.3 (again). The same error message keeps coming up, telling me that I do not have it installed. Restored my mac from a time machine backup but now iCal isn't working?

There are no calendars listed on the side, not even the ones I had in my backup or the ones that come default in ical. Won't let me create new calendars or sync with icloud to get my cloud calendars. Any one know how to fix this? iCal is currently unchecked in iCloud but that didn't help anything. I tried deleting the calendars folder but it didnt help. I also tried deleting the com.apple.iCal.plist file but nothing changed in ical and perference generated a new one titled: com.apple.iCal.plist.HPjnF3U
Does any one have a solution to this problem? I build multiple calendars for work in iCal so I lost a lot of work and it won't even let me rebuild it.

You can add a new local account in Calendar/Preferences/Accounts - + sign and then CalDAV account.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library/Calendars - enter Time Machine to restore.

I want IE back as default browser, but the FOX isn't working with me and keeps substituting itself

While Foxfire is good for some things, I want IE back as the default. I have tried the Microsoft suggestions, but things are not working or there. Ex: it says to go to Add Delete programs which is suddenly not there (it's as if the Fox has hidden things to ensure it's survival as default).
I'm sure that I am not the only person to ever want it removed as default.

first of all please go to firefox > options > advanced > general and uncheck ''Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup''.
