I upgraded my Q10 to 10.2.1.537- HELP
I upgraded my software version on my Q10 to 10.2.1.537 and now I am unable to delete any email message that comes into my phone. The prompt comes up but will not allow me to delete. Please help me as I get many emails and I need to delete many of them so I can maneuver through my messages easier.

Ok. This test has proven that the Mac can see the scanner.
So to scan, you will need to install the scanner driver and the MP Navigator scanning application. Note that you cannot use Apple's Image Capture application because there is no ICA driver for this model. This will also mean that the scanner will not reside in the Printers & Scanners preference pane.
With the scanner driver installed you can then install the MP Navigator application. Then open MP Navigator and select to scan.

I just upgraded my Q10. When prompted to restart the phone, I hit yes. Took about 1/2 hour to access the screen but i had no functioning Hub nor did the phone work. The two strengths of the BB. I took the battery out as the phone was getting hot! Now I only have the purple BB logo. Help!
Help is here Joyness! Let's get to the bottom of your equipment concerns. I verified this is not a known issue after updating your device. Is there any physical or water damage to your phone? Have you tried removing the battery then reinserting it back to the phone?

Your expectations are not based in reality.
Your G4 will not run iCloud. There will be no upgrade from Mobile Me to iCloud for you with that machine unless you do it manually, and only mail will work without further expenditure. -

Your iPhoto library is usually kept in your pictures folder. Did you look there? If it is still there then you did lose your photos. Just need to get the iPhoto app at the latest level.

You have a 13" Early or Mid 2009 MacBook. Either one can run OS X Mavericks with enough RAM, 2 GB minimum. But first you will need to update to OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 so that you have the Mac App Store installed on your MacBook
Buy this from apple;

Then download and update with this update combo;
OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 v1.1 update combo

After this you will have the Mac App Store on your MacBook and you should be able to download and install OS X Mavericks for free!

There's always that possibility but I suspect that any Lion purchases today will be just a drop in the bucket. Still, there really ought to be some provision for those whose Macs can't go beyond Lion to upgrade since continued Snow Leopard support is now in question (the reason I finally moved to Lion).
There are a lot of people complaining that their free upgrade redeem codes for ML aren't working so I bet keeping Lion available is way down on Apple's to-do list. -

when starting imovie I get an error missing quicktime components. To solve the problem I have upgraded to latest version but it didn't help. I want to either solve this problem or get a refund for the useless upgrade.
Mac OS X 10.6 includes QuickTime versions 10.0 and 7.6.3. The QuickTime 7 player will only be present if a QuickTime Pro key was present at the time of installation, or if specified as part of a custom install, or individually downloaded:

Snow Leopard update 10.6.4 included an update to 7.6.6 (if installed). You can install it from the above link even though it says for 10.6.3. It's the same version of QuickTime Player 7.6.6.
(Only QuickTime Player 7.6.3 or 7.6.6 can be updated to "Pro".)
iMovie does not, AFAIK, use QT 10. -

YOU CAN'T.
If you upgrade your phone you can only upgrade to iOS 7 and that is it. You can only ever update to the lastest available software, which in this case is iOS 7. You either upgrade to this or not at all because you can't upgrade to anything else. -
Q10 Software 10.2.1.537, Application Sound and Speakerphone Problem
Hi
Several days after I updated my BB Q10 with 10.2.1.537 Software Release, I experienced two problems:
a. when I make or receive phone call, the Speakerphone mode is always turned ON automatically. I cannot turn it OFF. So I cannot make phone conversation in private.
b. the applications' sound becomes very small.
Ex: sounds from receiving email, BBM, SMS messages. Reminder sound from calendar
Exception: only Alarm application sound is still normal
After I reboot the phone, the applications' sound becomes normal. But as soon as I make or receive phone call, the applications' sound becomes very small again.
I have performed Reload Device Software with Blackberry Link, install the latest 10.2.1.537 Software Release, and restore the backup file. Same problems still persist.
Please advice how to fix these problems.
ThanksMy Q10 has a similar problem that seems to happen only when driving over 40 Kph. sound cuts in and out, whether i am on speaker phone, earphone or blue tooth. I've gotten a replacement Q10 and its doing the same. Any solutions?

That is because that sync ability (for contacts and calendars) has been removed. Use iCloud instead.

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.
searching the internet i found a link to upgrtade to 10.7
The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.
