I upgraded to Firefox 7.0 on Win 7 32-bit system and can no longer download personas. I setup a collection and can't use that either.
I finally upgraded from Firefox 3.6.8 to Firefox 7.0 this morning. I don't like the default theme, so I tried to download a new persona and do not see a "wear this" button any longer. On the screen where I should see a button that installs it on my desktop, I have an option to download Firefox or to add the persona to a collection. I created a collection and added 2 themes, but even that won't allow me to actually install the persona in Firefox.
Try a reset ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Sounds like the device is in recovery mode. You will need to restore the phone. See this support document for instructions. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

My iPod Touch can no longer download Podcast Videos after upgrading to iOS4
After upgrading OS 3.1.3 to iOS4, My iPod Touch (2nd Generation) can no longer download such video podcasts as NBC News, CBS News, ABC News and Cranky Geeks from iTunes store. The moment the download starts, there is always an annoying prompt "this video cannot be played on this iPod".
It's really frustrating!!!Same thing happening to mine also, still cant find a reason.

I would feel dreadful If I thought had caused you a problem. The warnings about Java are fully justified but providing you are communicating with a known source, and as I said, you disable it the moment you have finished, you should be safe.
It might also be worth asking your bank what problem they have and would it be the same if you were using Firefox, for example.
Like you, I am very security minded, in fact I won't even put my bank details on my Mac let alone run my account that way. -

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Long time user of Firefox, but recently I've been having problem. After upgrading to FireFox 7 on my laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), none of the game in Google+ will load. One game pop up a screen saying cookie acceptance is disabled even though it is enabled. One game just won't load at all, but will not give any error message. I installed Adobe Flash as well, still not working. Previous version of firefox works fine without a problem. Also, I recently reinstall Windows and fresh copy of Firefox 7, still the same problem.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

It includes a utility which checks to see whether a site is safe or not and also adds a plugin to Firefox which is listed as '''npFFApi'''. Can you disable that and see if it makes any difference?
To get to the plugins manager, click the orange Firefox button, then click "Add-ons". In the page that opens, click the "Plugins" link on the left which will open the menu. Then find '''npFFApi '''and click the "''Disable''" button. -
I have used Firefox for some time and have enjoyed the bsend a link feature in the File drop dwon menu. Since installing Firefox 4 this feature no longer works. I click the option and nothing happens. In preferences and applications the mailt0 icon on the far left is not as distinct as it was and the option is set to googlemail which is correct. I have an Apple mac and also installed Firefox 4 and send a link works on the mac with no problem!

Start at this link http://support.apple.com/downloads/#leopard for downloads and find, among other things, the 10.5.8 combo updater that works on PPC machines, plus security, QuickTime and other updates. Going from 10.5.1 to 10.5.8, there will probably be a bunch of things that you should install. Being off the internet with the machine, you can't have Software Update sort it out, so something might get missed, unfortunately.
My suggestion is this: if it looks like you might need a download, get it onto that disc. -

I can no longer get into my e-mail account on Google. I tried to update my version of Firefox. I also deleted all cookies in Google. When I click on Firefox, it opens to my Google home page. I have a new computer and it has firefox on it of the 5.0 version and I went back to go download my movies from Blockbuster.com and I couldn't download them because I needed a IE plug-in for Firefox and the 5.0 does not work with it I need to go back and find if I can get a download of 4.0 version of firefox so I can get the IE plug-in for Firefox so I can download my movies.

I am receiving the error code (-50) when trying to access the itunes store. The original itune songs etc were installed on a win 7 32 bit system and I have now moved to a win 7 64 bit system (same PC) and have copied the folder across. Has the switch from 32 to 64 bit caused the problem? Is this why I get the error code? I can, however, access the itunes store to view my account. Any ideas please?

I upgraded to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox and ever since then, every time I open Firefox it asks me if I want to allow Mozilla to make changes to my hard drive. I have to answer "Yes" or else it won't open Firefox. Then when I open my AOL Webmail and try to browse for an attachment, it freezes up the browser window and I have to open the Task Manager to close Firefox. I have now gone back to Internet Explorer which does not have either one of these problems.
Maybe just corrupted Disk Utility preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.DiskUtility.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.DiskUtility.plist file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac then try creating a .dmg file.
