I upgraded to windows 8 and didn't want to change to internet explorer 10... i needed to stay on IE8 for work purposes.  what can I do about this?  tried installing IE8 on windows 8 and it says IE8 is incompatible.  Microsoft shouldn't
make decisions for the end user.  I do computer repair for a living and need my computer to act a certain way but when upgrading to Windows 8, IE10 was automatically added.

We had issues like that at my work and we used Gmail. When we used IE 8 a message would pop up saying your browser is old upgrade to a more modern browser. SO we switched our standard from IE to chrome but I still have a couple of apps that require IE.
