I uploaded a song on my ipad and can't see it on my mac itunes

I purchased some songs on my iPAD through my iTunes account but don't see them on my iTunes account on my MacBook.

Do you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, or are you manually managing music and videos with this selected under the Summary tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes?
If the latter, it is manual all the way. You must manually transfer the music purchases from your iPad. With your iPad connected at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPad.
If the former, the music should be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPad with iTunes after purchasing music with your iPad.

My ipad is showing that my music is taking up 1.1 gig of my space. I have no songs on the ipad and can find nothing that would take up this space. How can I find out what is taking up this space so I can remove it? Thank you

I have reset the device and have opened the music icon and the only thing I can see are the songs I have bought and have on my iPod.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

I had an itunes account for my classic and a few months ago wanted to add my daughters ipod to it. it told me when i pluged hers in 2 ipods could not use the same account and asked me if i wanted it to link her ipod and delete the current libary. like a fool i said yes. now i have a party comming up and cant plug my classic in without it saying if i sync it will wipe my 6000 songs and leave me with the new blank itunes that i have just set up.
what i want to do is add my 6000 songs to a new apple id libary/itunes without it wiping all my songs. does anyone know how to do this.

Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

This is not true. You have misunderstood.
You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like to one one library.

Where are you looking on the iPad ? Your synced music (and that which you download from iTunes directly on the iPad) should go into the Music app

What app did you use to create it? Documents are saved within the app itself on the iPad, not on a central folder system as on a Mac/PC. Many apps have ways to get it off the iPad, either through mail or through storage in a cloud system (Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive.).
If you are on a website filling out a job application and lead to upload a document from an iPad, you can't do that unless the website has a dedicated app that will work with one of these cloud storage apps.

if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

If you select a mailbox, you should get an Edit button (easier to see in landscape mode). Clicking the button will provide you with check circles for the messages. You also get Delete and Move buttons at the bottom. Check the messages you want to move and then navigate to the mailbox you want to drop them into. I think as long as you can navigate to a mailbox you can move the messages to it.
In the Mac Mail application and probably Outlook on the Windows side, you also setup rules to move messages to specific mailboxes. If the mailboxes are stored on the server, then you can have the sorting done on the server and they should appear that way on the iPad. If your later messages do not show up, you may need to have the iPad app pulled down more messages until they are all showing.

There is no way to clear the update notifications - unless you delete the apps completely from the iPad and from iTunes on your computer.
Obviously you want to continue to use the apps, so you either have to update the iPad and get the newer versions - or just ignore the update notifications. They will not go away.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?
