I recently noticed this same problem. In the past, I don't recall losing the effect at the end of the saving process. I followed the steps in the apple article and the effect is "sticking" even though it does not appear to be when viewing at less than 100%.

I just downloaded Firefox 6.0. The web page asked if I wanted to upgrade. What is the most recent version of Firefox and why can't I get it denoted in the propperties link? Also why is it not compatible with AVG Tool Bar?

I'm not aware of any version of Firefox from Fx 2 on up to Fx 6 where "AVG Safe" is not a problem. Crashes aren't the only failures caused.

I have an apple id but ı can not use it for sign in to itunes connect account while publishing my ibook document. Why ı can not login? What can ı do to figure out this problem?
As note already on the iBA forum [ AppleID for ibooks publishing ], you need two IDs. You can't use your developer ID.
If you already signed up for books with that ID, you need to talk to Apple to straighten things out. -
Why can't I save text I've entered into a PDF file? When I hit "Save As", only the PDF document is saved, but not the text i typed into the document. I'm using Windows 8.

Since updating to Firefox 3.6.15, I can no longer print coupons from SmartSource. The error message is that Java is not detected. The check box is longer showing in the Options/Content of this version of Firefox, so I can not enable it.Same PC as I used to post the question. why can't I save changes I made to photo that I use the zoom feature. I zoom in and set it the way I want but when I click done it reverts the photo back to it's original size.
When you zoom you're not chnaging the image at all, just looking at more closely, like using binoculars. Using binoculars doesn't actually bring the object closer. So with zooming. I think you might want to explore cropping.

After a recent comcast / xfinity update I have been unable to even connect to the internet using firefox. I can using internet explorer.
Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
Restart the router. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 2
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 3
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 4
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

You may need to change other settings on the router. See the guidelines linked below:

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC). -

The hostp is physically connect with hosts with a router. Both are RHEL5.0 OS. I copied some files from hostp to hosts successfully a few days ago. But it not work today. The SSH is disabled on both hosts.

Using Application Manager, why can't I see my CS5.5 applications, just CS6 lists to buy?
I am migrating my CS5.5 apps from an old XP laptop to a new Win8. Also Acrobat Pro, so I am using Application Manager to make sure I am not offending version copy allowances, but Application Manager is not showing any of the apps on my system, jut CS6 to buy and a couple trials. Where are my current Adobe applications?

GMMOnce you save that to a location on your system.
Make sure Acrobat is Quit and then do this:
1. In the Finder go to the "Go" menu.
2. Select Go to Folder
3. Paste this path into the "Go to the Folder:" field
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat XI Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro/Contents/Resources/JavaScripts/
4. Copy the file into the JavaScripts folder.
5. Launch Acrobat
Now you should see the menu spoken of in the blog and web page. -
