Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.

I was downloading Skype for mac last night, and now my safari isn't working correctly (has a lot of popups and and words are hyperlinked on my webpages I pull up now. I think I have the 'DownLite' trojan but I am unsure of how to get rid of it. I saw a post in March that Linc helped with describing how to fix it, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me (because I think mine is in a different folder but am unsure how to find it). I have the UNIX shell script diagnostic scan if needed. Can anyone help me get rid of this?? Thank you for your help!

    download free AdwareMedic by clicking “Download ” from here

If it's because you're trying to use Office 2004 or earlier, yes. Note that programs such as OpenOffice and TextEdit will do this for free.
If you're using Office 2008, it's probably better to troubleshoot the problem instead of upgrading.

Couldn't download an app and now cannot log into my iTunes account?

I had deleted Instagram a few days ago and I just tried to redownload it, but the icon wouldn't even appear; it just said "waiting" and disappeared. I then turned my phone off and tried it again, but still nothing. I tried downloading a different app and the same thing happened. I then reset it by using the home and lock buttons. It still did not work, so I logged out of my account but it wouldn't allow me to log back in. I keep getting the error message "Cannot connect to iTunes Store." I know that it's not my internet because everything else is working just fine and all of the other apps are working normally. Is anyone able to help me?

I have an ITunes account. I got it when I got my IPOD. I've thought about upgrading, but I didn't see any reason to buy a newer IPOD because they all come with so much stuff I don't want/need. I don't have my current IPOD filled yet and I really don't need an IPOD Touch that has capabilities that my Droid already has. I don't need to be concerned with documents, mail, attaching to Facebook or playing games. I can do all that on my phone. I just want to maintain my music between 3 devices.
So now that I see it is not to my benefit to have this product---can you point me in the direction to cancel this? And how do I get my music back? Will it show up once I cancel my account?

I have just reset my ipad as my apple id was disabled, but once reset I went to download an app and it said apple id disabled again? What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Someboby please help me.....THIS IS DOING MY HEAD IN!! I have had to reset my Ipad as my apple Id has been disabled which reset fine but after the reset I have gone to download an app it was automatically disabled again. Any ideas on why this is happening or how I can fix it would be awesome.

Apple ID being disabled is a different error, and one not related to your iPad.

Is there a way to actaully talk to someone at apple whereby it doesn't cost money? I downloaded an app and now the stupid phone says that there is compass interference and to move away from the interference. Well, I am in the middle of a field. Now what?

Is there actually a way to talk to a service person at Apple where you don't have to shell out money? I downloaded an app that cost $9.99 and when I tried to use it I get a message that says there is compass interference and to move away from the interference or wave the phone in a figure 8 pattern. Well, now I have a sore arm from constant waving out in the middle of a field and it appears that is going to cost $29 to talk to a person. Does anyone have any idea why this is occuring? As a side note, I can use a normal compass with no issues so it is the phone. From a customer perspective, this is poor customer service.

First of all, an idle threat is one that a person has no intention of carrying out. In the past 16 months that I have had this phone I have become less and less satisfied and found that it is like much of today's technology....over rated and under performing. The one thing that I have never been accused of is not wanting, or not giving help but when a company makes itself unavailable to resolve issues and leaves it to forums run by users helping users, it speaks more about the company than anything else they could do. Restored iPod touch through Settings.app and now it's stuck at logo loading

My computer was being used and I wanted to restore my iPod touch 2G, so I went into the Settings and did the clear everything off the iPod and now it's been at the Apple logo with the white loading ring for half an hour. It's just frozen there. I tried to put it into DFU mode, but my computer finds it as an unknown hardware and not Apple Recovery Device. I just decided to upgrade to 3.0 and I knew something was going to happen, but I did it anyway. Do I wait longer? I doubt it's fryed, but I don't know. Thanks for any help.

I am having the same troubles with mine. i HAVE let it doe, and it just goes back to the same loading screen. the restore of the ipod (from the 'settings') was not interrupted, so i dont think anything became corrupt..
