Where do you usually keep it? It should be in your applications file. Otherwise you will need your iLife disc. All the same quite a lot of problems with ML and IDVD reported of late.

Have you checked the Applications folder? If you are trying to start from the Dock, the alias may have become corrupted.

Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then reinstall the OS.

I have had Creative Cloud on my Mac for over a year and about a week ago I updated the application and it completely disappeared from my laptop. I have tried re-installing it many times but my Mac is not allowing me to do so. This is a serious issue as I am a monthly payer of CC and need these applications for schoolwork.

Camera has "disappeared" from the mac

hey, i have a macbook pro, 13 inch, and ever since about 2 nights ago, the camera that came with the laptop has not been working. i have no idea what i did, i was just playing around in photobooth; the program froze, and since then, it hasn't been working. i can open up the program and look at the pictures i've taken, but when i try to take a picture, it just shows the camera with a line through it. when i try to set up a video chat with someone, a message appears that "there is no camera attached to the computer." i'm sure it's a really easy problem and solution, but i'm stumped. thanks for reading, and any help is greatly appreciated!

I am sorry for answering so late about iSight being removed from EU stores (not just the Italian one...)
It has to do with what is "inside" the camera, not meeting some EU levels of dangerous materials. To know more, go see your local Greenpeace website on Technology Toxic Waste.
I do not think Apple will continue the iSight in it's present form, it has changed in all the built'in models.
I am still hoping for a built'in iSight in the Apple Monitors as I have a Macpro...

FaceTime has disappeared from my mac screen

Whilst FaceTime was ringing I attempted to answer but it wouldn't connect. Then the FT screen jumped to the bottom left corner of my Mac screen and has dissappeared? It is still available in the dock although when i click on it to call nothing happens, and the screen has not returned. Any help on this please?

Try quitting FaceTime. Click on the FaceTime icon in the dock and then press Command ⌘ + Q. If it doesn't quit, you can force quit it by pressing Command ⌘ + option + esc, selecting FaceTime, and then pressing Force Quit. Then you can relaunch it by clicking its dock icon.

It happens if you click the icon on the Dock and then drag it off the dock before you let go of the mouse button. It will disappear in a puff of smoke. Try it, now that you know how to replace it.

This is obviously not a Pages problem.
Sounds like you are having major hard drive problems.
Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair over your drive, but first backup all your work to the external hard drive if you can.
Why did you buy the drive from Apple? They madly over charge for such things. Any external USB hard drive would do the job.
Take your Mac into Apple and get them to fully check it out for you.

I checked Preferences then content and JavaScript box is checked.
(Checked and unchecked several times) BUT there is NO JavaScript. I checked the software list for my computer and NO JavaScript! I've tried downloading but doesn't seem to install.
I have searched high and low and NOTHING. Do I need the Apple Store?

If you have a Time Machine drive or another backup, then you can try restoring to the most recent backup instance that still contains these applications, but the only other option would be to reinstall the programs. Did you do anything specific before you noticed the programs missing (ie, install an OS update)?

The airplay icon has disappeared from my desk top. It was there two weeks ago, so I can't watch movies I've downloaded from iTunes and flick them over to my TV.

Also, if I rent the movie through iTunes, why (because of the above issue) when I go to 'Purchased' it doesn't display as an option when actually using Apple TV, it doesn't display but when I go to rent it again a message comes up saying "you have already rented this movie, do you want to rent it again"? Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

You're using iPhoto 6?
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

The All Images is a search of all images on the hard drive and would include those in the library. if you deleted all of the photos listined in the All Images that would include all of those in the library.
To check to see if you have any of your original photos in the library open the iPhoto Library package as shown in this screenshot:
Then open the Originals folder and check the subfolders to see if the image files are there or not.
DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE CONTENTS OF THE LIBRARY PACKAGE.
If the sub folders are empty you have trashed your library. If the files are there then you can start over with a new library and import just the Originals folder into it.
