I used the Firefox Refresh button, but it never finished. When Firefox finally showed up again, it just showed a blank screen, with the Firefox "frame".

Reluctantly tried Firefox Refresh. Step #3 says "3.Firefox will close to refresh itself. When finished, a window will list your imported information. Click Finish and Firefox will open."
I never got that window. Firefox re-opened after about 20 minutes with a blank screen. I waited some more, but nothing. At first it didn't seem to be responding to mouse clicks or keyboard entry, but after a couple more minutes, I was able to click on the menus or Firefox button and get a response.
When I look under Firefox profiles (folder), I see my original profile folder with a dash after default and then a number added at the end (xxxxx.default-zzzzz). It is still my only profile folder. I thought Refresh was supposed to create a new profile folder.
All of my bookmarks are missing.

This may be caused by the large amount of visited sites and as a result this can slow down Firefox
Can you please try to clean your browsing history and cookies by doing the following:
1. Click the menu button, choose "History", and then "Clear Recent History"
2. Select how much history you want to clear ( Everything is recommended)
3. Finally, click the "Clear Now" button.
If none of the above work then I would suggest to reinstall Firefox and see if that solves the issue.

I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.

You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

First, close the Facebook app. Double-click the Home button. The screen will change to show you "cards" of running apps. Swipe up on the app's card to force close the app.
Then, hold the Sleep/Wake AND Home button down on your iPad for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo on the black screen. The let go of the buttons. This resets the iPad. Once it boots back up, try launching Facebook again.
If this doesn't work, there could be a network glitch preventing the app to load. You could reset network settings on your iPad (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings). You'll need to re-add your WiFi network after the reset. If all else fails, reinstall the Facebook app.

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Was it just this one time? Could be that you, or your mom, were experiencing network problems. Try again at a later time.

When i put it on the charger the sound of it charging happenes but nothing else. If a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

Not sure if you were responding to me or OP - my iPhone is on 5.1. The OP at the time of writing was on 5.0.1.
Also, the OP and I had setup our Hotmail as an Exchange server (similar to IMAP), not POP3.

Does DVD SP use the full raster of my video stream? In other words, if I feed it 720x576 PAL video, will the entire image area be in the resulting DVD?
I realize that if the DVD is played on a TV set, there will be some amount of underscanning, and I will lose part of my frame.
But what if the DVD is played on a computer screen?
The reason I'm asking is that I have a timeline in FCP where some of the clips (having originted in a format other than PAL 720x576, do not extend all the way to the edges. They are about 2pixels short at the top, and about 5 pixels on the sides. If I turn the brightness up on my production monitor, I can clearly see the difference in image size between these clips and the clips where the image fills the 720x576 frame. (Of coure all of these clips are well within Action Safe, it is just the very outside of the frame.
Should I blow up the offending clips by 102% so that they fill up the frame? Or should I just leave them alone and not worry about it.
(I could apply a crop in Compressor, but that will increase my render time....)
I know that when outputting to 35mm film from video they try to use the entire frame, but apart from that I dont know if I should be concerned at all.
I'm a bit pressed for time, otherwise I would test this out myself. Thank you...

If your going to play on a computer this problem will show up on your monitor. It will not on a TV. The choice is yours.

Next time that happens while on WiFi, turn WiFi off in settings, wait about 30 seconds or so, then turn WiFi back on. Sometimes you have to do this two or three times, but this fixes that issue as well.
