I tried to use the home sharing to add my itunes library to my new laptop. Only a few of my songs transfered. Any suggestions?

You can't sync music to your phone which isn't in your iTunes library. As you are only streaming the music to your laptop via Home Sharing, you wouldn't be able to sync it to your phone from the iTunes library on your laptop. You can, however, copy the music from the iTunes library on the host computer to the iTunes library on your laptop using Home Sharing and then sync the music to your phone. Caution: the iPhone is only designed to sync to a single computer/iTunes library. If you have been syncing with your pc and not your laptop you would be strongly advised not to sync with your laptop or you will create all kinds of problems.

Normally you can find your serial registered to your AdobeId. To find it please login to the Adobe website and check if you did register it to your account.

In general you will go true a educational verification afterwards you get the serial. So its in your email or account. If you still have issues get in contact with the chat team to get help.

I ran into this same problem earlier with my new iPod classic 160 gb. Turns out it could be your files show in iTunes but they aren't connected to the location those music tracks are actually located.
Does this make any sense?
You basically have to make sure iTunes is picking your songs from the right music folder via your preferences.
Option 1: If your iTunes is completely wiped blank and your music is stored in a safe place, backed up, etc. You can do the following:
Step A. Preferences > iTunes Media Folder Location > choose folder
**** please be sure to pick a location that is new or different from where you ACTUALLY stored your music to prevent your files from deleting itself as it updates****
For example, if you stored your music on your Desktop then you wouldn't choose your music folder to be the one in Desktop. You choose the folder where you want your music to go such as C:\My Music or in Mac, you choose the music folder.
Step B. Once you choose the folder where all your music is stored and you check the box that says "Keep iTunes Media Folder organized" and "Copy Files to iTunes Media when adding to library."
Step C. This is the part that will make sense. Drag the folder on desktop that houses all your music into iTunes. Because you checked the box "Copy Files to iTunes Media when adding to library," iTunes will copy all the backup music you dragged into the folder location you designated it in "Preferences > iTunes Media Folder Location > choose folder."
---- once all that is done, your itunes will have ALL your music tracks linked to the right location on your computer and your iPod will sync with as many or all of the music you desire.

I am trying to use the Home Sharing feature but none of my current library is showing up under my Share Library ?

I recently purchased a new lap top and thought the easiest way to move my library before wiping my old lap top would be the Home Sharing feature. I have gotten everthing set up for Home Sharing but the library on my current laptop isn't showing under the shared library? I am using the same account log in that I have always used and the Home Shared library isn't even seeing purchases under my account? How do I get the Home Shared library to see all my music?

Do both computers need to be connected to the internet at the same time for the Home Sharing transfer method to work or just at the time Home Sharing is activated on the individual computers. I do not have wifi and only one line to access the internet.

Neither computer needs to be connected to the internet.
They do need to be on the same local network

HT4527 Home Sharing Playlists? I exported but only the titles show up. not the songs.

Using Home Sharing, I was able to access all my music on a 2nd PC.
Using the File > Library > Export Library function, I was able to transfer my playlists too but only the playlist titles show up; no songs shown.
I know the correct files are being shared as O can play them from the main music menu on the new computer.
Both computers are PC and both have the current version of iTunes (11.1.5.5)
Any ideas? I have tried both exporting playlists individually and exporting my library as a whole. In both cases the playlist names show up on the new computer but there are 0 songs shown.

I had this problem today and posted a fix that helped me earlier today.
Try turning off home sharing on both computers and then logging out of itunes on both. Log back into itunes and turn home sharing back on. This fixed my problem. Of course this assumes all other settings are correct. Like I said i posted a step by step fix for this earlier today around 3 o'clock. good luck.

You can use Home Sharing to transfer the music to other computers by following the directions below.
Home Sharing is an easy way to keep all your iTunes libraries in sync across multiple computers at your house. For more information on Home Sharing and syncing your library between two computers, read iTunes: Understanding Home Sharing.
Note: This option allows you to share music between multiple computers if you continue to use both, but it doesn't create a lasting backup. To create a lasting backup, use an external drive or CDs or DVDs.
Home Sharing requires
iTunes 9 or later.
An Apple ID that is also an iTunes or App Store Account. If you need to, you can create an iTunes or App Store account without a credit card.
An active Internet connection.
A Local Area Network connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi), such as one created by a router.
Follow the steps below to use Home Sharing to copy your music between your old computer which has the music on it already, and a new computer.
Be sure iTunes 9 or later is installed on both computers.
Open iTunes on both computers.
On your old computer:
If Home Sharing is already enabled, iTunes 11 or later displays the option to Turn Off Home Sharing (Account) under the File > Devices menu. If this is the case, proceed to step 7. Otherwise, choose:
iTunes 11 or later: File > Devices > Turn On Home Sharing from the menu bar.
iTunes 9 or 10: Advanced > Turn On Home Sharing from the menu bar.
Select the Home Sharing icon on the left side of iTunes from where you select music, movies, or TV shows.
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password.
Click Create Home Share.
On your new computer:
Click the Store menu and choose Authorize computer. Enter your Apple ID and password (that was listed in the Advanced menu in step three or used in step 5).
Choose Advanced > Turn On Home Sharing from the menu bar.
Select the Home Sharing icon on the left side of iTunes.
Note: Once Home Sharing is enabled, the Home Sharing option disappears from the left side of iTunes until a Home Share library is found from another computer.
Once your new computer sees the Home Share from your old computer, click that Home Share on the left side of iTunes on your new computer.
Select the content in the Home Share that you want to transfer to your iTunes library on your new computer, or choose Edit > Select All to choose all of it. Then, click the Import button in the bottom-right corner of iTunes.
Wait for the content to finish transferring.

How do I set the web page for when I open a new tab? Whenever I open a new tab it goes to an error site which freezes my firefox browser for a while. How do I change that? If Google is set as your Homepage in Firefox you can middle-click ''(push down on the mouse wheel)'' to open Google in a new Tab.
Or, you can add the feature to Firefox where clicking the New Tab button on the Tab Bar opens your Homepage in a new Tab. <br />
