I used to have an ? icon at the upper portion of my screen to click for Facebook, or check email,or fox news or other things too. That ?toolbar isn't available any more?? I have checked View-toolbars and can't find it there
Below my web browser and above the Firefox tabs I used to have icons to click on for checking: Facebook, email, news, weather etc they are not there anymore. I have gone to View/Toolbars and not there. Is this available anymore?
I would expect it to be the bookmarks toolbar you ar looking for, so ensure that is visible. Your menu toolbar is the one with the '''view''' menu item on it.

* CARE, you could try the restore default option, but that may result in your own customised items being re-arranged
The facebook, email, weather etc, items are likely to be none standard items you created in your own bookmarks. You may need to open the bookmarks library and reinstate those items in the bookmarks toolbar, or even recreate them.

Have you checked the applications folder?
To quickly find it on the top right press the spotlight button it looks like that image
and type in Mail it should appear in the spotlight list, click it to launch mail or alternatively right click it and press open enclosing folder to find out where it has vanished too -
I purchased a song on iTunes and it shows up in the song list with an exclamation point on the side of it. It says the song could not be found. I have done a search and can't find it but iTunes won't let me download or buy it again. Help!!

The bookmark star has disappeared from my toolbar and can't find how to get it back
The bookmark star on the right side of the toolbar has disappeared. I have read the support articles and can not find anything on how to pin it to the task bar. I restored the tool bar and it did not reappear. What do I need to do to get it back. The bookmark tab is not a convenient.

System Information is located in Applications > Utilities. It shows lots of information about your Mac, including information about the printer queues.

In previous versions of OS X you did see this information via the Options & Supplies pane for the selected printer in Print & Scan. But with 10.8 this information was removed so know you need to use System Information > Printers to see information about an installed printer.

I believe that the document does not print because the print queue has not been created correctly. The CAPT driver requires a specific queue name and if the queue name is wrong then you will not be able to print.

Not surprised to read that. Mtn Lion has caused some issues for owners of CAPT printers, especially if they upgraded to 10.8 from 10.7 or 10.6.
Since you mention the ability to print on 10.5, I just want to check that you are physically moving the USB cable connected to the LBP from the 10.5 Mac to the 10.8 Mac, rather than sharing the printer from one Mac to the other. Because if you are sharing the printer from the 10.5 to the 10.8 Mac then this can be a cause of your current issue. The CAPT driver does not work when it is being shared to other Mac's. -
The small icons for weather just appeared. I used to have a weather for San Francisco box on the main opening page for Google, but everything I had there simply disappeared one day. These small weather icons appeared at the upper right . They are for New York.
I would klike to change them to San Francisco, but actually I would like to GET BACK what I had before. No idea why it disappeared.Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

A toolbar "ultimate games" has appeared on firefox; I can't find any reference to it in the control panel "add/remove programs" list. How can I get rid of it?
I followed the instructions but when I got to highlighting the ultimate games extension, there was no removal button, only an "enable" button. I really want to remove it altogether. So what can I do?

Missing photos from camera roll and photo stream. i also have been using dropbox. Will someone tell me how to find them? they were there yesterday, and i did not delete any?
Unless someone physically deleted those, you describing practically impossible situation. Even deleting from camera roll would delete from photostream possibly, but not if you manually put those in dropbox and they had time to upload.

You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize<br />
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.

I have no internet explored browser on my computer. I can not locate my recovery dvd. I do not have access to another computer to download a copy to a usb drive. I can access the ftp directory, but am unsure of getting to the correct place to actually download the binary ( exe ) for ANY version... If I could get by FTP any recent version of firefox, that would be great.
