I've 4 devices connected with iCloud, 2 iPhone 4 1 5s & one macbook pro & all of them photo stream is on, when I take picture with one its shares with my 4s & mackbook pro, one of iPhone 4 with my friend, he is in Bangladesh. FYI im in United Arab Emirates. Would is share my taken picture in his photo stream?
But none of his picture doesn't come in my devices, even though his photo stream is off, if he turned it on later, would those picture will share automaticly?
Please help me on this.

Help with syncing my Iphone to my new Macbook pro!
Okay, so I wasn't sure whether to put this in with the iPhone questions or the macbook pro questions but here goes anyways;
So just yesterday I received my macbook pro. My computer before was a Dell, this is really besides the point, but if I am trying to figure my best route to getting the information (music, contacts, etc.) onto my new mac. I am afraid to just plug my iPhone in, because I don't want it to wipe my phone.
If i plug my phone in, will this happen? I'm just not really sure what to do right now. Thank you!I'm in a similar situation as the OP. Laptop crashed, lost access to my iTunes library. Got a new Mac, repopulated the new library with all my music, audiobooks, etc. Thing is, my iPhone contains only a few hundred of the tens of thousands of songs in my library, almost all of which were ripped from my CD collection (yeah, I'm old) rather than having been purchased through iTunes, so Restore Purchases won't do me much good.
I'm really not interested in having to redo the years-long winnowing process of choosing which music from my collection to put back onto my phone once I sync it to my new machine and library. Nor am I interested in dropping thirty bucks or so on third-party backup software. And I'm *really* not interested in being told that I cannot manage my music, on my devices, with my computer, without having to start from scratch.
So the original question stands: It's not about whether I can sync my iPhone to a new library without losing the media I've put on the phone, but How. To. Do. It. Is there a way to create an index or playlist of what's on the phone prior to the initial sync such that iTunes will restore only those files from the library after it slicks the phone? -

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

Using a DLinkVWR (Vonage enabled) router, I just secured the home WiFi with a WEP password. No problem in establishing a WiFi connection on my MacBook Air (OS Mountain Lion 10.8.2) or with my iPhone using iOS6. They both accepted the password and connected directly.
Not so with my wife's MacBook Pro, using the latest version of Lion, 10.7.5. It can find the WiFi, but upon attempting to connect, the alert is shown that there is no internet connection. This is unique to this MacBook Pro. The drop down menu shows the router checked and 4 bars, but the Alert remains: No Internet Connection.
What am I doing wrong? This MacBook Pro connected without problem before I secured the router.WEP as a security measure is laughable nowadays. Even a kindergarten kid with a netbook can crack the password in a few minutes. Try using WPA2 if available on the device. And the Macs will be quite happy connecting with that protocol.

Our home network has multiple devices connected by iCloud: 2 iMacs, 2 iPhone 4s, 1 MacPro Laptop, and 1 iPad 2. When using Calendar, all the events were
duplicated on my husbands iMac. On his computer, under Calendar accounts, I had included iCloud and also my iCloud ID. I thought that because I had two accounts listed that were connected to iCloud, that might be the cause of the duplication. When I deleted ithe calendars from one of the accounts, it resulted
in deleting all of the events on all of our network devices!
I have since entered some new events into Calendar from my iMac and from my iPhone. These appear correctly on all devices except my husband's iMac where they are again all duplicated.
I have two questions: 1) How can I eliminate the duplicated events on my husband's computer and 2) How do I retrieve the old wiped out Calendar events from
Time Capsule. I don't know how to find Calendar in the Time Capsule. If I find the Calendar information in Time Capsule, how do I transfer it to my current Calendars?
I was obtaining phone help from one of the Apple techs at Apple Support, but our call was disconnected part way through. Didn't know how to reconnect with the tech.

The moment I start/open Mail, Mail shows a message (translated from Dutch):
"This Mac cannot make connection with iCloud because of a problem with <my-account>@mac.com. Open iCloud-preferences to solve this problem."
And it shows 2 buttons: [Later] and [iCloud-preferences].
Pushing [Later] results in the same message (this is a loop).
Pushing [iCloud-preferences] results in the opening of "System-preferences" ... but I cannot find what is wrong.
Because the message comes again and again it is not possible to write and/or read a e-mailmessage.
I can open <www.icloud.com> and I can send messages with <www.icloud.com>. My Mac syncs also addresses, notes, etc.. without problems ... so my accountname and password are correct.
Please: tell me what I have to do.

Question. Makes it any difference that I use accountnames ending on "mac.com", "me.com" and/or "icloud.com"?

how can we find the hostname of the devices connected with the interfaces of switch ? I have tried mac address and ARP, there are lot of servers connected with the switch having multiples LAN cards. So mac table shows the mac of physical machine as well as virtual machines. But i want to know only the physical machines. Is there any other method to find out the IP address, hostname of the physical machines only?

In our network most of the Servers are not of Cisco. Some of them are Vmware machines, some are Hyper V machines, etc.
Does IP device tracking show us only the IP addresses of the Physical Machines of the Vmware Server not of Virtual Machines?

Are you trying to reduce the visual clutter on the phone, save space on the phone, or limit the security exposure if your phone is stolen?
If you are only wanting to reduce the visual clutter and make scrolling through the list faster, you could set up a group on the computer containing only the contacts you want to see on my phone (called, for example, "Show on my Phone") and enable only that group inside Contacts on the phone. You might even have one or more existing groups that you could enable that way (maybe "Family" and "Personal"). -
I have a wireless network at home. I run my iphone and ipad on it with no problems. Just purchased a MacBook Pro, and now my wi-fi keeps disconnecting and i get an error message saying another device is using the same IP address. What does all this mean?

I am having issues with streaming music from iTunes on my MacBook Pro to my audio system through AirPlay. Works perfectly with my iPod Touch. The AirPlay icon appears irregularly in iTunes and when selected doesn't connect. Running latest IOS software.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

It use to, but no matter what I try nothing works. Using Windows 7. HELP!This step is not clear:

The link takes me to an Apple page but which has nothing to do with ports. And there is nothing to explain what it is I am looking for, how to look for it, and how to change it if needed.

iCloud automatically set up a "[email protected]...." account for me so I see that one plus my original email used to open my Apple account. And the apple products show my settings under both identities.
Make sure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook
This add-in is disabled because it doesn't allow Outlook to function properly.
