I've been charged in my credit card for the "Back to school Gift Card", Why?

I have recently bought my new MacBook Pro 13", that came with the "Back To school Gift Card". In received thre different invoices.
1) An invonice with all the accesories that I bought
2) An invonice with all the "extras" of my mac and the mac itself. (There they "subtract" the $100 from the gift card under "promotional savings"
3) An invonice with the gift card amount of $100.
On my personal bank account i have three different charges from the apple store. i double checked already.
Why is this happening? Will I get a refund at the end of the month or how does this work?

Can a back to school gift card be used for music as well?

I recent purchased a mac book and received a $100 gift card to go with it. I just want to know if the gift card can be used for music instead of "back to school apps" like the websiye says.

It can be used for anything in the iTunes store.

I received an email receipt for the purchase of two gift cards for $50.00 today from itunes on my account. I did not purchase these.

They were purchased using someone elses credit card too. I did have a credit card on file and they didn't use it. (Thank God!). So my account, another persons credit card with their name & address on it. So I googled the guy. Found him. I have since placed a call to him to find out the story..but I am betting it was a stolen card. I did place an email with apple. Anyone else have this experience?

How to find the code for a lost Mac App gift card?

I received a Back-to-School gift card with my purchase of my laptop that had $100 on it back in 2012. I used it once last year to purchase Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. I wanted to buy The Sims 2 yesterday, but I had to update the version of OS X I had to run the program. I had to wait overnight to let it update since I had school in the morning. Long story short, the card somehow disappeared over night and I've been searching like crazy this morning to find it. To no avail, it didn't show up. I was wondering if there is any way I could find the code somewhere since I had made a purchase on it a while ago. I was able to view the purchase through iTunes, but I wasn't able to find a code. It's already been redeemed on my Apple ID and everything. All I need is the code. Any help, please?

I am having the same issue. When I try to update my payment information I receive an error that states, "We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later.
After Adobe's servers were breached I received a phonecall from my bank, stating that someone had used my credit card at a hotel in Mexico (I live in Ohio). I closed that credit card and was issued a new card. I want to update my card information on my Creative Cloud subscription. I chatted via the web with a customer service rep today. He was anable to help me. He suggested I call the Care Center. The hold was estimated at 2 hours. All I want to do is update my card information so the next time Adobe automatically bills for my subscription the transaction doesn't bounce.

Purchases are deducted from any credit you have before your card is used, providing the credit covers the whole cost of the purchase.

Many folks have reported that this is true. However, the charge is not taken to the second step of completing the charge and the $1 revolves back to your account.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
