The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list. The App Store which is required to download 10.7 or 10.8 is part of the 10.6.6 update.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

I have Itunes10.6 on my macbook but just got a new iphone and it says i need to upgrade my mac but the mac says it has the latest version??? Should I download the newer version? If I do will all my content merge?

Recently, I can't get any sound from my game applications. Sound works fine with video, streaming, etc, but not my game applications. I've tried powering down and re-booting, but the sound does not return. Can anyone help me?
Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). It should appear as a camera/scanner device in My Computer, or you can associate a phot app on the computer with it. If it doesn't appear there is probably a corrupt image in the Camera Roll or the Camera Roll is empty. You cannot transfer photos from the Photo app (transfer is one way only, computer to iPhone), only from the Camera Roll.

I was trying to update my Security Questions this morning but got 'Timed Out' I've just tried again to get into my security settings but the system does not recognise the information I'm putting in. Can anyone tell me how I can correct this problem. I can still log-in.

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -
Trying to connect to a server, but the "connect as" button is unresponsive.
I need to connect to a server at my job with a username and password, but the connect as button is not responding. It is clickable, but no pop-up appears.

Ical on iphone does not sync with ical on mac, but the mac does it!
My ical on my iphone does not sync with ical on mac using MobileMe, but reverse it works very well.
so typing an new event in ical on my phone will NOT appear in ical at my computer. Typing a new event on my mac, than within 10 seconds it appears on my phone.
anybody know how to resolve this? never had the problem before
problem 2: ical on my iphone seems to duplicate a lot of events. Non of them are duplicated on my computer.

HeinI have solved my problem - don't know if yours is the same. I noticed on iPhone, when I listed the calendars there are two sections: the top line showed "All Calendars ->"; when I click on that I get duplicate entries for everything.
Below that is:
"From My Mac.
"All from My Mac ->", followed by a list of individual calendars. When I clicked on that I got single entries.
This led me to realize that in my Settings ->Accounts I had the old "...mac.com" a/c and new "..me.com" a/c. I had thought it didn't matter.
Once I eliminated the "mac.com" A/c, I had only one set of calendars.

Have just purchased Livescribe3 connected to iPhone no problems. However the livescribe App on the iPad says that my device (the iPad) is not Bluetooth smart ready. I note that the bluetooth symbol is not showing on the app.
The screen for the bluetooth on the iPad shows that it is on and attempting to discover devices however the pen doesn't show there either.Try resetting it by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears.

I am trying to create a idvd project but the it does not while encoding the films, Why ?
I am trying to create an iDVD project. I create to sub menus and put small films in each sub menu. When it starts to create the project, while encoding the films, at one point to time it just stops abruptly. Why. I fail to understand. I I tried twice, and it happened the same. I have created the projects in the past, but it has worked just fine. This time it is behaving rather weird.
I went on to see the report and I feels it stops with a 32 bit film. I may be wrong, but could you please help ?See Bengt Wärleby's post in this topic for questions relating to encoding problems: Stage 4 Multiplexing - Media error in...: Apple Support Communities. He's the most knowledgeable if that area.

I have a 2nd gen shuffle. I bought a new USB for it at the apple store last week. They said it would work with the the 2nd Gen shuffle. I have the shuffle plugged in to the computer now. It wont light up and itunes is not reconizing it. Please help!
I would bring it back to the Apple Store and have them test it out on one of their one machines to see if it'll work or not there.

My iPod touch was recently stolen and I have been trying to find it on iCloud but sadly it has not connected to the internet at all so I have not been able to track it.What should I do?
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

I have an iphone 5. I have no idea of the ios version in it. Recently i broke my iphone screen and its showing up nothing. it was never synced to itunes or to any pc. When i tried to connect iphone to itunes in my pc it was asking for passcode which i had forgotten ages ago. Suggest me the possible ways to recover my iphone.
Since the screen doesn't work, it will be challenging to get it working, even thru iTunes. You will need to ask yourself if you want to invest more money in it or get a new one, especially since the contents will be lost since you don't know the passcode. Apple will gladly replace the screen for a cost that represents a significant portion of the price of a new. Once the screen is done, you may or may not be eligible for the free iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program.
Or, if you decide to salvage it and are strong of heart and firm of hand, you can replace the screen yourself for less. See here and note they carry kits with all needed tools and parts.
