I've been trying to open PDF file

The file is 1.2 MB in size each time I try I get a blank page, I know info is their since I can see it in preview & with PDF pen.
But that does help being able to share this file with others.
How to fix it so when I click on file it opens in Adobe Reader so everyone I choose send this file to
can open it and see the information in it.
Thank-you for any idea's
I've tried to save as with both preview & PDF pen with no luck.

The pdf is loading as html code. If you save it, it will download as :
    605124.pdf.html
    Change the extension to .pdf
And it opens and works perfectly, I just tested it:

  • How do I stop Adobe trying to open pdf files?

I have removed Adobe from my Mac, but it is still trying to open pdf files, both in Safari and in Mail. I've removed all of the files using CleanMyMac, so there is nothing left of it.
How can I change the default back to Evernote, or just view pdf in Safari?

Unfortunately, I can't do that as the file I want is coming up with this message: "Please wait...if this message is not replaced by the proper contents of the document, your pdf viewer may not be able to display this type of document.
You can upgrade or get the latest version of Adobe Reader...etc etc"
I'm also getting this on my Windows XP Computer even when I have Reader installed.
I have already deleted all internet plug ins relating to Adobe in my Library.

  • I am getting a Eula error trying to open PDF file, not allowing me to open...what should I do?

I have tried reinstalling software and didn't work.
How do I fix this eula error and open up PDF files again?

I think I fixed it using help from another post...agreeing to license agreement in program files eula.exe
I think Eula is a licensing agreement term (not quite sure because I just heard of it when error happened).

  • Trying to open PDF file in pages

I've followed all the directions and tried several methods to get a PDF document from my pc to the iPad. From an email I should have the option to open the attached PDF with Pages, but I cannot do this. I touch the attached PDF file, and it just opens. I also tried connecting the iPad to the pc and manually transfer the PDF with iTunes. It seems to show the selected files in iTunes, but when I start Pages and try to open a file, the files I "transferred" are greyed out, and don't open.
I'd appreciate any help with this.

I never said it did. I was talking only to how you make the menu appear.

  • Grey screen on safari when trying to open pdf files

Yesterday I was reading a pdf file in my safari 3.0.4 web browser when safari froze unexpectedly and crashed. When I re-opened safari, I am now no longer able to view pdf files in the browser or at all. It opens up, starts loading and stays at a grey screen. I'm using adobe reader 7.0 and I've never had problems before but this is really frustrating to not be able to open up pdfs anymore!
Also, I downloaded firefox to see if it would work on there and it works to download and view pdfs but I can't seem to view pdf files directly in the firefox browser without downloading them to the desktop. What should I do?

You're welcome Joanne. Glad to hear all is functioning in the PDF realm.
When you get a chance, click on "My Settings" on the right side of the screen. There, you can change your tag to reflect the latest version of your OS. As you are using Safari 3.0.4, it would be either Tiger's 10.4.11 or Leopard's 10.5.1.

  • Adobe Reader 10 problem with opening pdf files

Ever since I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader 10, I have been unable to open .pdf files from the Internet.  When
I try to download them, I only the get the option of saving the file, not opening it.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

We had similar problems with both the upgrade to 9.4.2 and 10.0.1. We would either get the download/save screen or a black screen would appear and eventually error out and freeze up the machine when we tried to hit pages that loaded pdfs stored in Oracle.  We found the pdfs would load when using Chrome or Firefox.
We're running winXP SP3 and mainly have users using IE 7 and IE 8.  We were eventually able to solve the problem by doing the following:
Implementing the code fix outlined in this thread (Response.charset = null;) in the page that pulled pdfs from Oracle: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3476821
Uninstalling and reinstalling the base version of Reader (9.4.0 or X.0) from users' machines that had gone through the update from 9.x to X.x
Rebooting the machine after each uninstall or install
Updating the Reader to either 9.4.2 or 10.0.1
Now we have users who can successfully load the pdfs from Oracle who are running either 9.4.2 or 10.0.1.
    Hope this helps!

  • Unable to open PDF file

    Hi ShaneMiseer,
I looked at your account and see that you have an active subscription to ExportPDF. Are you trying to open PDF files, or files that you've converted from PDF to another format? What happens when you try to open the files? Do you receive an error message (and if so, what is it?).
    Best,
    Sara

the response is that the attachment has been damaged or in a format that cannot be opened

  • Opening PDF Files in Adobe Reader XI directly from SharePoint 2013 Site

I am trying to open PDF files in Adobe Reader XI directly from a SharePoint 2013 document library using Internet Explorer 11. When I click the file name it immediately opens the file in Adobe Reader, however it is downloading and opening the file locally
from the Temporary Internet Files location. If I add a comment to the PDF file, and save it will perform a Save As and the location will default to the temporary folder.
If instead of clicking the file name, I click the ellipses in SharePoint, copy the file URL, and go to Adobe Reader, click File > Open and paste the link into the file name, Adobe Reader will correctly open the file directly from the SharePoint site and
prompt for "Open and Checkout, Open, or Cancel".
Is there a way to get it so that when I click the file in IE, I get the same functionality as a File > Open in Adobe Reader?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
According to your description, you want to open pdf file in the Adobe Reader directly from document library.
I suggest you do as the followings:
    1. In SharePoint Central Administration site, click Application Management->Manage Web Applications, select the web application for the site. Click Authentication
Providers, select default zone, and select Yes for "Enable Client Integration?".
    2. click Site Settings-> Site collection features->"Open Documents in Client Applications by Default" click Activate
    3. set the default open behavior for a document library by using the document library settings page.
    4. Enable the “Adobe Arcobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component”add-on in the IE11.
    5. Add your current site URL to the trusted web sites in IE11.
