I've been unable to retrieve my purchased music.

None of my music albums show up in my purchases.

If you mean that they don't show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page for redownloading, then whether music shows there depends upon what country that you are in - music can't be redownloaded in all countries.

PLEASE ADVISE AS HOW TO RETRIEVE OLD APERTURE LIBRARY WITH ALL MY PHOTOS, ALBUMS AND PROJECTS

Find the old Aperture library in the Finder and double click it to launch Aperture with that library set to the default.
And check your caps look key.  It appears to be stuck.

  • Please tell me how to get my icloud music on to a new pc.  the only thing I have been able to download is purchased music

Please tell me how to get my music from the icloud to a new pc.  The only thing i have been able to download is purchased music.

Was this music ripped from CD's or downloaded from somewhere other than iTunes?

  • I'm unable to redownload my purchased music

I'm unable to redownload my purchased music.  Purchased music in the store shows downloaded not the cloud and it's not on my machine.  I accidentally trashed it and emptied the trash.  I use OSX Lion

If you deleted the files from the Finder, and not from in iTunes then you need to also delete the tracks from iTunes. After doing so the tracks in the purchase history will be downloadable.

    Most Windows users don't.
Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer.

  • Issues Retrieving Already Purchased Music

Today I had purchased two albums off iTunes through my phone. Everything downloaded and I got my music. When I got home, I went to transfer my purchased music from my phone to my computer. That didn't go as planned because not all of the songs transfered and now both my phone and computer are missing 2 songs from the first album and 12-13 songs from the second album. I tried going back to my purchased area to redownload the music from cloud, but all of the music I had already downloaded only showed up. The missing songs did not show up. It would be nice to have all my music and not just bits and pieces. Would appreciate any help.

If the tracks don't appear in your Purchased area of the iTunes Store at all, go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    Regards.

  • Unable to listen to purchased music

I recently bought the 2nd gen iPod Touch and bought an album at the Apple Store(last week)... Everything went ok till today... I am not able to listen to the purchased music anymore, the only ones working are those I copied from my computer... Need help and fast cause I spent 10 bucks on those songs!!

If you are running a version of iTunes older than iTunes 6.0.4, the first thing to do is update to 6.0.4. Choose About iTunes from the Help menu in iTunes. If you are already at 6.0.4, or if updating does not help, the next thing to try is to deauthorize your computer for the iTMS account using the Deauthorize Computer option in the Help menu. Then play of the iTMS songs and re-enter your authorization info.

  • HT203167 How to retrieve lost purchase music?

Hello, I have lost all my purchase music from Itunes?  My computer crashed and I didn't back anything up?  Any info would be so helpful.  Thx.

Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

  • Computer hard drive replaced, can i retrieve previously purchased music?

Basically as above, my computer had major probs and had several pieces replaced including the hard drive. I have authorised it on my itunes account but is there any way to get my old purchased music back or will i have to buy them again?

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items. It's your responsibility to make backup copies in case something goes wrong with your system, as unfortunately it apparently did in your case, and you lose all the information on your hard drive. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places. If your hard drive was erased and you don't have a backup of your purchased items, and don't have them on an iPod, you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your tracks.
If you have your tracks on an iPod or have them backed up, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis, but don't count on it.

  • Ever since I upgraded to iOS 5 (and now iOS 5.0.1) I have been unable to synch my purchased ring tones to my iPhone 4. Any help greatly appreciated.

I would like to be able to synch my purchased ringtones to my iPhone 4 like I was able to before upgrading to iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1. The ringtones are definitely in my iTunes folder and selected for synch. Ironically the 1 ringtone I made for myself synch fine. What's up with this?

Has the problem been solved?   This just happened to me.  I'm so upset.  It took me months to create 107 customer ringtones.  The ringtones on iTunes are lame and no creativitiy.  First 30 seconds and that's their idea of a ringtone.   My tones have character.    So I need to know how to restore my ringtones.    Do you have an answer???      Help!

  • Unable to download newly purchased music

The last two albums I have purchased on iTunes have refused to download. I keep getting errors stating that the song is unable to download at this time. I have tried rebooting, resetting network settings and a full restore( which is annoying in itself)
This is starting to get extremely frustrating. Being an iPhone owner for 5 years now I have experienced just about every problem you can think of but this one has got me considering other products. Apple prides itself on ease of use but nothing lately has been easy to use. Please help.

I have a brand new 4S and it gives me that same message (unable to download at this time" with new purchases and old ones I synced up from an old phone.  Did you guys figure it out yet?  Thanks.

  • Retrieving already purchased music

    Good Day,
I purchased an album on iTunes, a month later I lost all my data and iTunes when my unit crashed. How can I retrieve this album without buying it again?
Surely there is a way this can be accomplished, can someone please help me with this challenge?
    Thank you in advance,
    FZ123

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on the link at the bottom of this page you'll be able to email your query: iTMS Customer Service
If you have an iPod that still has the purchases on it the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
