I've buy a product that slowly become useless...

First of all, i love the Apple product, except the fact that near 30% of the price that i give, goes into already millionaire guy's pockets, to help them to be more millionaire... But it's the actual world...
So I have my iPod since a long time, i need to change my battery, and i honestly will do it myself, the fact that a numerous Apple devices are fix closed, is strange, maybe is for making the device surface more clean, more design, maybe is to sell me the "battery care replacement plan" for 80€... for a battery that i can buy for 12€.
I've buy my device, and therefore i consider to be the legal owner. So i have the right to do what i want with it.
I have an iTunes account, i can say that i've buy a lot of Apps. I've always used the official Kernel, official iOS. But now, my iPod refuse to update itself to v4.3... so it's impossible to buy others Apps that require this version. Apple doesn't notify me, concerning this compatibility issue before updating iOS.
For conclude, my iPod ( that i've buy near 400€ in the past ) is slowly becoming useless. It's the modern marketing policy "sell disposable devices, to sell more disposable devices", but this is now my device, and i refuse to dispose of it.
So i decide to hack my iPod, to give him a second life, thinking that with a custom os, i could install thos 4.3 apps... impossible to install anything now... except custom modified and near illegal software.
So i decide to write here to claim my dissatisfaction. And requesting, a patch or a solution to unlock my device, it's sad to say that, but it's Apple itself that force me to install a hacked iOs version. And given the fact that Apple don't notify me to tell that my device will be useless in X years, or X weeks.

( First of all, sorry, i'm french, and sometimes, i don't uderstand what you mean :/ )
I already have installed Withed00r, but i don't think that it's a legal thing... ( I don't have time to read the Apple store rules... ). And yes i'm talking about an app, that is on the official App store, i konw that if i buyed this app just before 4.3, at present, i would have it in my app collection, so Apple and the app author loose money.
But if Apple stop to support my device, Why they don't give me the posibility ( a patch ) to unlock it, allow it to be updated with original iOs 4.3, i surelly will not complain about an app that doesn't run on my unsupported iPod. A sort of " use at your own risk" unlocker, if you buy and install an app that couldn't run on my device, it's entirely my responsability ( so i accept the risk of loosing my money... with uncompatible apps ). I think too that Apple devices are the best ones ( except the quality/price ratio ), but now i'm not satisfied with the support policy, my phone is 10 y.o and i could call with it. My T.V is a cathodic one, and i can watch programs on it. But my ipod is only 4 y.o and it's over, and i could only install cracked things...
I think that here, Apple made a mistake somewhere, i know that big electronic devices company, don't like to full open the devices, bit it's proved that it make the product very popular ( PS3 and Linux... ). There is team that make custom OS ( whited00r.. ), it seems that Apple authorize it ( or maybe not, i'm not aware of all this underground stuff, maybe they are law breaker, don't know ), it's sad that it's not Apple itself that handle old devices, developping a light iOS for old devices, with support restrictions.
My device warranty is over, i couldn't upgrade to new iOs, and i refuse to drop it. Or if Apple suggest me to exchange my device with a new one... i will think about it
