I've changed my Apple ID address and verified it but my iPad is still asking me to put in a password for my old Apple ID?

I've changed my Apple ID email, and now when I try and reset my iPad to erase all settings and content it's asking me to put in my password but for my old email? I can't seem to find a way of changing it to my current email?

I have same issue, i put password for original account, but still it doesnt let me in.
Please advice asap

If it's still asking for the seller's Apple ID and password, then he most likely did not actually remove the iPhone from iCloud. If the problem persists, return the iPhone and get your money back. The seller can figure out the problem and resell the iPhone later.

I haven’t been in this situation, but can’t you just change your account settings and use a different e-mail or maybe add another secondary e-mail to use for verification?

Tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out of it, and then log back in with the updated version of your account so as to 'refresh' the account on your iPad

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. To change the iCloud ID ("email address") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. You can't change and @me.com email address. You can set up an @icloud.com alias address to use that will receive email in your current inbox, but you can't get another @me.com address at this point (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a). Just be aware that you can't later use an alias address to set up a new iCloud account, transfer it to another account or reactivate it should you ever delete it.

Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. I recently updated my primary email address associated with my Apple ID account.
Now when I go to App store on my iPad it still tries to login to the App store using the old email address I had associated with the account, and naturally my password doesn't work. I can't figure out how to tell my iPad to login using the updated email address.
So in effect I'm locked out of the app store and I currently have 26 updates waiting.
I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my IPad to iCloud with no luck.. However I cloud happens to show the correct/updated email address.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Did you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

Did you change the Apple ID primary email to another email address or did you create a whole new Apple ID?

First I would like you to try the instructions below to sign out of your iCloud account, and then sign in with your new Apple ID.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

I'm afraid that once an address has been associated with an Apple ID you can't re-use it in any way. You will have to create another address (such as a free on from GMail or Yahoo for example).
