I've changed my computer, how do i get all my music and films back?

This is actually knid of annoying as I payed for the films and tv series. The music was from cd's, but still annoying. Any help on getting it from my iPhone back onto the computer would be exellent, especialy if it has nothing complicated to do.

Did you backup all your documents and data first? Normally your user profile contains a Music folder which in turn holds the iTunes folder. All the important details of your library are in there, with the media below in a folder called iTunes Media. If you lose this information and then connect your device to an empty iTunes library it will want to clean it out the device and start over.
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new machine but I've not tested it personally.

If you have a backup of the iPod (iTunes>Preferences>Devices), restoring from that backup will restore photos taken by or saved to the iPod up to when the backup was made. The backup does not contain synced itemslike apps and music.

I recently used the migration assistant on my old macbook air to transfer my data to my new macbook pro, yet it seems that my music and Films have not fully transferred over. i have used macs for a while now and haven't had any problems before, yet now itunes has the names of my music and films yet it can't locate the original file. any ideas on how to get this fixed? i don't want to buy all my music and films again.

Did the original files actually transfer? They would be in Music>iTunes>iTunes Music. You may just need to rebuild the library if the files are in that folder.

Easiest way is to copy the entire iTunes folder onto an external hard drive and then copy it onto the new computer. Google your query. Lots of step by step instructions out there

I was trying to sync my iphone with my computer when 'restore backup' came up on the screen. I clicked begin and when it had finished it began syncing music.But what had happened was that another phone's pictures, contacts, messages etc. were in my phone and all my messages and photos were gone. settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings, this will wipe the phone clean, then you will have an option to restore from your backup.

You don't. Everythng downloaded with one Apple ID can not be transfered to another Apple ID. So you would need to buy it a second time. This is one of the Pit Falls of the whole Download only model.
That is why I refuse to buy things like music or movies that are tied to a specific User Name, ID.

Restoring the phone wipes is clean as part of the process. You should read the User Manual to make sure you are using your phone properly so all your data is safe before the restore process.

The guy at att told me that icloud would sync everything i had in my notes, calendar, and text messages to my new phone, but it only synced some of my notes, none of my messages, or calendar info.

Your music will only be where you put it. It will not magically appear on a new computer.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
If for some reason you cannot do this, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an iphone: Without syncing - File>Transfer Purchases
