I've downloaded photoshop cc 2014 trail, now how do I open it to actually use it?

I just got the trail and 'tried' the Photoshop CC (2014) but I don't know how to open it now. I'm not finding any buttons or folders to open it.

What OS?
On a Windows x64 system, for example, you can drag a shortcut for this executable to the desktop:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Photoshop.exe

    Did you turn off the "show transform controls" option in the move tool?
    It sounds like you were using that previously.
    And you can always transform by using the Free Transform command (command/control T).

    Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) to my Mac Pro desktop running OSX 10.9.3.  My Creative Cloud app shows updates for all apps that I have as CS6 on my desktop but I have only subscribed to Photoshop CC.  Lightroom shows Install but it is installed.  Trying to Install Photoshop CC(2014) results in and error message "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(7) more information.
    More information gives Exit Code: 7
    Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting.  For Example, ERROR:
    - 0 fatal error)s), 0 error(s)
    I also cannot directly download from my account on the web.  This has been going on for a week or more and I have tried numerous suggestions on the forums but got nowhere.  I uninstalled Creative Cloud app today but could not find the installer again so I assume that was deleted.  I cannot download that now as on Adobe's site it says we are experiencing problems.  Aren't we all.
    I was happy with CC until last week but now cannot recommend it.
    I also have a Macbook Pro retina and Photoshop CC(2014) downloaded no problem on that.

    I'm wondering whether your comment addressed to Lmono was intended for me Tmono.
    You ask: "So why didn't you provide the same?"
    It just didn't occur to me to do so.
    My intent was to report that there was at least one other user encountering a similar problem.  It occurred to me that Adobe might be interested in determining the scale of a problem which causes one of  their best known products to fail to run quite so completely after a clean install 
    I also see that I misreported the OS I'm running - its Windows 8.
    If there is further information I can provide which might be helpful in determining a solution, if someone could be specific about what would be helpful, then I will try to respond appropriately.

    The X230 has Intel HD 4000 graphics support built in to the processor.  Windows was pretty stubborn about refusing driver updates, but I just managed to get drivers from the Intel site to install and Photoshop is now running, so hopefully I need not try your patience any further.
    In case anyone else has a similar problem and stumbles on this the way to install the driver that worked was to:
    - download the zip version of the generic driver from Intel
    - use the 'have disk' option in the windows dialog to install the driver - other paths in the UI did not work with windows refusing to install the driver.

    I don't think I can access the crash report? Excuse the ignorant questions I'm about to make am a relative tech novice.
    Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
    I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.
    Any guidance would be great.

    I recommend that you uninstall all adobe apps for that version including the manager
    Make sure you are connected via eithernet not wifi
    Then follow these steps:
    You need to log into creative.adobe.com
    Click Download Center
    Scroll down the page to Creative Cloud
    Click on creative cloud to download it, then install it.
    The Creative cloud (adobe manager) Should open in the middle of your screen.
    Click on Apps
    Scroll down to the app you want to install and click the install button
    Once the manager says it is done, you can start your app like you normally do with any other app.

    I am having a similar issue. I was trying to download Bridge trial and I think the download manager was quit in the middle or the internet connection was lost. I un-installed the manager and re-installed it. But no matter what its stuck at 42%.

    Can you add some information we may be able to help.  Did you download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application and then install  Photoshop CC 2014 from it or did you download  and install Photoshop CC 2014 directly? What type of machine do you have specs and OS? If we can not help you will need to contact Adobe customer support for installation help. This site is an Adobe users forum site not connected to Adobe support we are users like you are.
