I've forgot my password for icloud but the account doesn't exist anymore
I've just bought an iphone 6 and i made a new apple id because i forgot the password to my old account but the email doesn't exist anymore for the icloud account so i cant even reset the password, ive used the back up from my iphone 5 on my iphone 6 which had find my iphone turned on so i can't restore my iphone 6 untill i turn it off which i cant because i have forgot the password and the account no longer exist what can i do ?
Ok. In that case you'll have to contact the Apple account security team for your country and request assistance changing the password for the old ID: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. You'll have to prove your identity to them before they will change it. If your country isn't listed, contact iTunes store support for help with this by filling out this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

I had my phone replaced today and have tried to restore from the backup I made this morning. It didn't restore properly so I wanted to try again but I can't as it asks for my iCloud password for a non-existant email account. The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.

I'm being asked to enter my ID pswd on my ipad 2 for icloud. but the email address and ID are no longer being used, and reset emails are not being received. How can I deactivate this? I have another ID which works fine, but this issue with the old ID is not allowing me to use my ipad. thanks.
If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You select the desired file (tick the square box on the left of the file name).
You click on the "share"/"send" icon (the envelope with the arrow that points up and to the right).
You are presented with the share/send dialog.
Here you select the "Send To" choice.
This is done by placing a tick in the box beside either "Public Link (create a public link for anyone to view)"
OR
"Personalizdd Link (send email invitations to individuals)"
NOTE: The second choice is only available if you have a subscription to Adobe Send service.
So, for a free "Files" account in Adobe's cloud you'd tick "Public Link".
At the bottom left you'll observe the "Create Link" button.
Click it.
You are presented with a new dialog that informs you that the Public Link has been generated and that link is provided in a field within the dialog.
You can copy the link to a text file for future copy-paste into a post to a forum or bulletin board or you can provide the link to otheres via an email.

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

I enabled my restrictions and then disabled them succuessfully, but in the process I lost all my folders that my apps were defined into. The apps are there but the folders don't exist anymore, please help.

Solution: No. Idea: Yes. A lot of "funny" things are supposed to happen while Apple moves MobileMe accounts to the new data center which will run iCloud. Maybe that's related....

I want to change the security answers on my account but have noticed that the email address I listed is a hotmail one which I cannot get into. How do I change this as I only see an edit button for logging into iTunes but not one where I can change in the security answers. Thankyou
You need to contact Apple to get the questions reset. Click here, phone them, and ask for the Account Security team, or fill out and submit this form.
