I just installed OSX Mountian Lion, and ever since then I can not play youtube video's. I get the message of 'Blocked Plug-in' in the youtube screen. I have tried installing Adobe Flash Player. HTML 5, also tried enabling/disabling java, but nothing worked out. Is there any way I can play youtbe vieos on Safar. (It works fine with Google Chrmoe, only safari has problem)
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Try uninstalling the currently installled Flash plugin (required for most YouTube content) then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches -
I just got an iPad mini, when I try to upload my iPhone backup from my Mac i get the message to upgrade my iTunes. I can not seen to find where the download link is for iPads on apple website. Can anyone help?

The built-in apps on the iPad can only be updated via iOS updates, so if your iPad mini is on iOS 6.0.2 then its up-to-date -
My username (email address) has changed. Apps that I purchased with the old username ca not be updated as the password from the old username no longer works and apple can not send me info to an addres that no longer exists. What can I do?

Where are you, what network are you on and where did you get the phone?
If you are on an unsupported network, Facetime may never be able to activate. If the phone originated in a different country, facetime is probably trying to send an International text message to activate. If you don't have International text messaging, it will fail. -

Thanks for the question. When you sign out of your son’s iCloud account you will be prompted to keep or delete the data on your phone. After you elect to keep the data on your device, you can setup your own iCloud account and the data will be merged/uploaded to your new account:

My Verizon e-mail account is closed and I can not access the needed updates for my I phone apps. Even if I knew the password I would have to access the old e-mail account which I can not do. I have an ID and password for my new laptop but not for my I phone which is under a Verizon service contract....ugh!!! Thanks

Hey guys I figured out how to solve the issue.
You need to go to settings>general>restrictions.
Turn off restrictions and your iCloud and twitter will start working.

Do you have a recovery partion.
When you forgot the password and you can't use OS X, you have to use the new Recovery.
To boot in Recovery system, press Command and R keys in boot and hold the keys until you see the Apple icon. If you have a Mac with Internet Recovery, read > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718. If your Mac has got a wireless keyboard, hold them when you hear the startup sound
When it starts, select Utilities > Terminal, and type:
resetpassword
Press your user and type your password. Finally, reboot. -

"Error 42023" through "Error 42408"
These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3.

I installed Pro tools 8 M- Powered, the ilook and interface are plugged in, but for some reason
when I go to create a new session, it doesn't happen. Pro Tools is still open, but I cannot
access any sessions.Nope---didn't work. I've owned Macs for about 12 years so although I am brain dead on some things, I do have a working knowledge on most things. I only say that to say this--I did try holding down the mouse and choosing empty trash. It asks if I want to permanently delete what's in there. I say yes--and then I get the same identical message again-----'The operation can't be completed because the item "Firefox 8.0.1.dmg" is in use I can then click stop, or continue.' So apparently that complains the same way it does if I click it up on the menu :)))
As for item owned by---that's not an issue and isn't coming up. User is not a problem either as I am the only user on this system. There is only ONE file in my trash at the moment at that is this dmg file. Nothing Mac. Nothing owned by anyone other than Firefox. The problem seems to be that the dmg file and the original 4.0 FF file are working in tandem with each other--even though I have already drug the new 8.0 globe into the Apps folder and it updated the FF app with the new stuff. If I could force the dmg file to go away, I would do so, but at every turn the system is telling me it can't be done because it seems to think that dmg file is in use---even though everything is shut down and/or ejected. Hey--I'm getting ready to head out and won't be back till evening. I'll check back in this evening. Thank you again for your help. -

You could try to reset your iPod. Here is how:
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.

You have categorised this as both Messages (App) and Mail (App) and I am not sure which you are using.
The Messages App does not normally send a Copy to the Mail app.
Mail however does has an "Automatically CC: myself" setting in the Preferences > Composing.

i have an apple account, but i created a new one because none of the passwords i use worked on it (i hadnt been on in a while)
so i set up another account with the same email and a new password on January 27. i have chevcked my emails every day since then and my junk email folder and there is nothing there to help me!
i cant log on to or use my itunes at all because it tells me that i havent verified my password and every time i click resend verification email and nothing comes to my email.
i dont know what to do now, i have just tried to reset my password online and it said that it worked, but when i go on itunes there is still nothing working...
