I've got 10.3.9 on eMac 1.42 GHz. What's the order of available updates?

I want to update my OS ultimately to 10.5.9, the maximum I understand.
I'm running up to 10.3.9 on eMac 1.42 GHz.
Simply put, can i install 10.4.3, or even 10.4.11 without 10.4.1 or 10.4.2 without any problems, or is there a official order of available updates, whether that means buying updates or +downloading free+ updates, that I can follow knowing I've updated my OS properly?
I hope this makes sense. it should be simple but that's why I'm here, for knowledge, hopefully without fuss and with clarity.
Thank you for your time.

wilberforceroland , welcome to Apple Discussions.
You can skip Tiger & go directly to Leopard. One consideration. If you are currently using old apps in classic mode, Leopard doesn't support classic mode. You'll have to use Tiger.

Leopard (& Tiger) is no longer available at the Apple Store *but may be available by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753)*.
When you upgrade the OS, do it via Archive & Install. See About the Archive and Install feature http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710
Be sure to select Preserve Users & Settings. Also, repair permissions before and after the install.
