I've got 48 songs that MATCH, but wont update to .m4a
I've got 48 songs that MATCH via iTunes Match, but they won't update to a .m4a file type (after I delete them from my local machine). They also won't download to a .m4a file from another machine that has never had a local copy of the same song.
Ideas?

If the original file in the library was an .mp3 file, and when you delete that file and download the track from the cloud, and that file is still an .mp3 file that means the file was not "matched" it was "uploaded." You are simply downloading the same file. The iCloud Status of these tracks will be "uploaded" and not "matched."
If you're complaint is that the files are "uploaded" and not "matched" then that is completely different issue. If you are expecting 100% of your tracks to "match" you will be disappointed. Anecdotal evidence suggests that approximately 80% of tracks in most iTunes libraries will "match." The rest of the tracks will be "uploaded."

recently i had a virus on my computer removed and ever since then my ipod mini will charge but wont update...any advice???
I am finally up and running. I wrote earlier about trying to get my daughters ipod mini working. I had to get rid of iTunes 7 and go back to iTunes6 (suggested by ski mblz from Alabama earlier in this thread, thank you). It was not a cut and dry process. Had a hard time finding all the songs, and it still froze on me a few times and I had to Restore twice...but the bottom line is it's finally working...until next time we download songs! Thank you to everyone.

HT4914 Some songs are listed, but wont play. Whats wrong?
For some reason, one or two songs in my library, that I have purchased, wont sync up to iTunes Match. It shows it linked in the music app, but its grayed out.
Ok I figured out something that fixed the problem I was having and you (TuxedoCartman) are having I think.
ctrl click all the songs that are giving you this problem, right click one when they're all selected and click "Create AAC version" I think it was, either create or convert.
Once I did that I deleted the original copies of the songs from the folders outside of the itunes library folder. Back in iTunes, click file and then show duplicates. Skip through everything in there and then delete any that have an exclimation before them. After that, I did the restore iPod stuff again.
All the songs that were doing this to me now play just fine. Hope this helps -
HP Printer Control App installed on my pc windows 8 but wont update in windows store
Ii have downloaded the hp printer control app on my desktop pc which is windows 8, it shows my printer which is the HP Photosmart B110a its product number is CN245B. It keeps saying in my windows store app that it needs to be updated as other apps do but it just says pending constantly and theres no change ive used the app to get software for printer such as certain wizards and such. but it wont update ive got a hp printer control app on my ipod touch too and this also has no trouble picking up the printer and works fine, is it because ive got windows 8? please can someone help as its not right for it just to be there stuck not updating, thanks
lollykaye2005A bit of a shot in the dark, but this appears to be an issue with pulling down the update from the Windows Store. I have not run into this issue directly, but this thread has a lot of information.

The one tidbit that might help here from that thread is:
"finally I found a solution. go to troubleshooting (press win+w >then type troubleshooting). now a window opens in desktop. click "fix problems with windows updates". now click next. windows will search for solutions, but it wont find anything. then windows will ask if u want to try in administrator mode. click yes. windows will find and solve the problem. that's it."

hello i upgraded to windows 10 tech preview build 10041. when i went to store beta it said it need update now i clicked in it started downloading 24.0 mb update but it stopped saying "Error, try again" i keep trying again but wont download update

How can I activate a song that downloaded but won't play?
I downloaded a 2 songs by the same artist. I listened to the first then attempted to listen to the second, but the first song kept playing. The second song shows that it downloaded, but isn't available to listen to. Thanks for your help.
Try first pausing the first and trying the second song.
If that doesn't work delete and redownload the song.

I got this notice that i needed to update
I got this update notice on a app and i went to it like usual and it ask for my apple id and pass word well the apple id was already there and it is wrong and it is not highlighted so i cannot change it . 30GB Ipod starts up songs are displayed, but wont play

I got my ipod about 2 months ago, working fine, this morning i start it up , shuffle songs, first song displays , but just sits there wont play, go forward to another song same thing, reset the pod no luck any ideasI'm having exactly the same problem...been working fine since i bought it..then stops working today.
Tried restoring a few songs and they appeared to play but after resynching the whole of my libary, back to the no play situation. Even when trying to fast forward through a song and start playing halfway through, songs don't play. -

I got leopard today. its 10.5.4 and i restarted it and it made me choose a language and i chose it and then it said that it couldnt install. i know i meet the requirements i talked to apple many times to check. i bought it off of ebay and the guy said it was a purple disc and i got a grey disc. can someone please tell me what the deal is? why wont it install? can i somehow get it to install? i have available disc space on my HD.
Gray labeled discs are machine specific and will not work unless it was the same copy that came with your Mac Mini, which is not likely the case. You need the retail installer that does indeed come with a purplish label with a large black "X" on top.

Ipod will charge but wont update?
I have a 30 GB Video, and it usually updates but i cant get it to anymore. I think it might have somehing to do with my sistser having an ipod on the same computer, on a different user name and folder. it usually will let me update when shes not logged in, but its still not letting me update, althoguht it will charge.
