Yes, create a playlist in iTunes of the music you want to go to the iPad and then select that playlist under the Music Tab when you connect your iPad. Or just select already existing playlists.

Hi, I got a new iPhone that I havent uploaded to my iTunes yet I had pictures and contacts. I accidentally said to restore it as my old iTouch. Is there a way I can change it back to my old iPhone and get my pictures and contacts back?
You would need to check if you made a back up of the iPhone on iTunes/iCloud before you restored from the ipod touch back up. If there isnt then im sorry that data is gone.

I backed up my Ipone 4s through itunes. however when after I had to restore it to factory settings i then proceeded to restore the backed up files and found that it didn't restore any of my music or apps! is there a way i can get all this back?
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup that iTunes makes. -

I did some work for a computer class last year. It was all online tutorials etc. You went though the tutorials online(fake access or word) and didnt need the programs on your computer. That I could do, but it was flash player. I had to download a flash browser(puffin) and it worked. With this case YES -

I have installed iOS 8 onto my iPad Air. Whilst it is by and and large reasonable there are a couple of apps that just don't work. Both warmed flawlessly before i updated.

The second and most annoying thing is that Photos is behaving erratically. In the Albums/Events from my Mac folder all the "Events" are there but they are arranged like a dogs' breakfast and not alphabetically.
iPhoto does not work. Presumably because it has been superseded by something called "Photo" which will be part of Yosemite when it is released. Not much use as Yosemite is not being released for another month. I assume that is why "My Photo Stream" is missing from the iPad. "My Photo Stream" is a useful tool if a mobile device is stolen. If the thief is stupid enough to take photos with it they will appear there and and on any mobile device that was not stolen. You have a better chance of getting the item back. Most people will be well aware of the "Find my iPhone" app and will switch it off.
Everything was working perfectly before iOS 8 and it is working perfectly on my iPhone because I have not updated it and don't intend to.
I realise I will have no option with iOS 8 when I stop dithering and buy an iPhone 6 Plus.
So, if anyone knows if it is possible to download iOS 7.1.2 I would be grateful if they could let me know.

UDTHey have bought out an update Ios 8.2 perhaps u could try that it may help u unfortunately u cannot go back to Ios 7.1.2 apple wont allow u to i guess hindsight is a good thing u can learn from this and dont be in too much of a hurry to update in the future sit back and wait too see if there are any problems before u update i work on the principle if aint broke then dont touch it...sorry there much u can do other than vent your suggestions to apple support..

He can't unless he knows your password for your Apple ID. Change that password. Be sure to enable Find My Phone. If he tries to change it he will just brick the phone.

im just trying to retreive my pictures and download them to my computer, but i need to unlock my phone to do so and the only way that can be done is by unlocjing it through itunes
To import pictures from phone to computer you do not use itunes (you only use itunes to put them back on the iphone). Your computer should recongize the iphone as a camera capable device and allow you to import pictures.
If on a Windows > click start button > click computer > and under computer there should be your iphone listed > right click on it and hit import pictures and videos

That depends on the app and where the app's data are stored. I think if you back up the phone, delete the app, purchase it again using your Apple ID, then restore the backup you will get your data back. But I cannot guarantee it.
