I've got a big problem
I had a computer crash tonight. I lost all the fun stuff on my computer, including my 30 gigs of music. I have a fourth generation iPod which has about 5 gigs of music on it. Many of the music I lost is gone forever because I sold the cds or otherwise. I need to know if there is ANY possible way that I can transfer the 5 gigs of music onto my newly booted computer. Because if not, in a sense, I'm screwed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ian, follow the instructions from MacMuse on the following link & you should be able to recover what you have. Once you are back up & running I strongly suggest you develop a backup program for your music, so you don't have to worry about facing a situation like this, again.

You're not confusing this with a shared Photo Stream...?
Because the short answer is no, photos don't appear unless they were put there by someone with your Apple ID credentials. To rule out that possibility, change your Apple ID password by carefully following all these instructions:
iCloud: Change your iCloud account password
If you decide to change your password, and you also want to change your Apple ID, I recommend you do not concurrently change your Apple ID until sufficient time has passed and you are confident the password change has been effected on all your iOS devices. 24 hours ought to be more than enough.
It is not necessary to change your Apple ID unless it is an email address you no longer wish to use. -

from the error log the problem seems to be related to the use of an external JDK. Try reverting back to the original JRE. See if that helps, i.e., the server starts up fine. Use the administration GUI and select Global Settings > Configure JRE/JDK Paths. On the screen that appears, you can configure the path to the JRE. The default would be <server-root>/bin/https/jre.
If that works fine, you might download a more recent version of the JDK. iWS 6 SP2 supports JDK 1.3.1.

Hi, I got a big problem. I restored my macbook pro and after I erased everything and started to restall the system, it showed I need to give the apple ID that was purchased the lion. The problem is that I lost my installing CD, and I don't have an ID with lion purchased, so what should I do? Do you sell the system software?

The particular model of MacBook Pro is a key detail here, as the Mac model will determine the oldest version it can boot, as well as whether it'll boot more current software.
AFAIK there is and was no Lion installer DVD available. It was a download. AFAIK, the last DVDs commonly available were for Snow Leopard 10.6. Snow Leopard DVDs are still available in the Apple online store in various countries, if your MacBook Pro is old enough to be able to boot that version.
If your MacBook Pro purchase with Lion wasn't registered with Apple, then you'll have to discuss this directly with the Apple Support folks, or repurchase Lion from the Mac App Store (which will usually involve a call to Apple for a redemption code as it's old software), or you'll "purchase" (it's free) Mavericks OS X 10.9 and wipe and install that assuming your MacBook Pro supports Mavericks. If you didn't purchase the MacBook Pro from Apple (and it was shipped with an older release), then you'll end up acquiring a redemption code from Apple for Lion, or installing Mavericks.
For completeness and given you're probably already aware of this, the usual approach for restoration with recent OS X versions is via the recovery boot (more details). If the disk is wiped and you can't get Lion, then you'll probably end up reinstalling with Target Disk Mode using another Mac with a compatible FireWire or Thunderbolt port and a cable. Or visit the local Apple Store.
sputniki: Once OS X 10.7 or 10.9 has been reinstalled, yes, getting Time Machine configured and going is undoubtedly on the agenda. But had there been a viable backup here, I expect jianghua would have used it. -
Alright folks... got a BIG problem here
I'm using the rectangular tool to create an image map right? Well, dreamweaver thinks it should scroll down to the bottom of my page EVERYTIME I create a new hotspot. What gives? I have multiple hotspots to create and I hate having to scroll up over and over again. Anyone have any suggestions?
Dreamweaver MX version is what I got.View > Zoom-In while working with hotspot regions.
Ctrl + Home to return to the top of your page.

I can't get any of my flv files to play, and I'm guess it's
because when you click on the thumbnail of a particualr video you
want to watch, it pops up a new window with just a swf file in it
that plays the flv file. I've been told not to do this (I should
use html to embed the swf), but I did it out of necessity.

I'd like to make one swf file with a keyframe for each movie
clip to show. I'd like to code the buttons to open up that one swf
file and tell it to go to a specific frame. That way, everything is
in one swf file (not the actual flv files of course, I use the flv
player to call them in) instead of 60 different swf files and 60
different html files.

I got a big problem now with my Zen Micro 5GB. Since Saturday I have having my new PC, Fujitsu Scaleo

Ati x700se Video Card
Windows XP with SP2 and several updates were already installed
Windows Media Player 0
Now, the problem is, I can't really use it on my PC. A few weeks ago I had the very old firmware. But then I thought I update it (why? I don't know...)I Updated to the version ..0 from Jul 05. It worked anyway...
So I plugged in the MP3 player to my new pc but it was not really detected or it did not want to work. When it was plugged in, I couldnt open any program. Even if it was Media Source or Opera or winamp... They did not appear. But they were "open" as they appeared in the task manager. So I couldnt use Media Source. So I tried with Zen Media Explorer, all buttons there were clickable but when I clicked on one butteon (like organize music...) it didnt react...
so I thought: "ok with this firmware, it wont work" So I updated the firmware to 2.2.02 Plays for sure. Neither with the new Media Source on your site nor with Zen Media Explorer (I installed the Update)it does not work. The plays for sure plugin for Media Source wasnt as well helpful. I can drag and drop files on my mp3 player, OK this is one way, but still when it is plugged in, I cant use any other program, as I cant open them.
I dont want to use the drag and drop way as I then have to download a program for editing mp3 tags and I cant as well make playlists...With Media Source it was so easy... I want to use Media Source and I want my PC react even if my Zen Micro is plugged in...
So what to do? I thought about installing the very old firmware what I had before I updated to ..0 but where can I download it's

Presumably it isn't, so you need to verify this by looking in Device Manager when the player is connected. -
Hi i got a big problem. I`m writing from my phone. I formated my macbook to make a fresh leopard install from the macbook disks. After formating the hd i start the install but then it asks me to insert disk 2. The problem is i can`t eject disk 1. Eject key won`t work. Help Please i`m desperate i`ve got no more computers. First, try the method described in Dr. Mac: A dozen ways to eject or unmount a recalcitrant CD or DVD.... If none of those dozen ways work try Force Eject.

I just got a new Mac Mini, and now when I try to import photos into Lightroom, iPhoto ties to load them first, then Lightroom can't find the files. Big problem. What to do?
Simple:
File -> Export to get your photos out of the iPhoto Library. In the Export dialogue you can set the kind to Original and you'll get back exactly what you put in.
Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
Once exported, you can then trash the iPhoto Library - just drag it from the Pictures Folder to the trash and empty it.
After that, if you're entirely neurotic about it, just put the iPhoto app in the trash and empty it.

Like I say I'm the title... A little part "colour" on my iPod5 came off after I dropped my iPod on a stone table.
I just want to know that can Apple repair it or it doesn't count on the guarantee? It's not a big problem but I just got it few month ago...It's brand new! Do that's why I'm curious..:) and if they can repair... Will it gonna be free?When you get your iPod repaired / replaced... do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks and but a case, like a Lifeproof or Griffin Survivor. Both cover the entire iPod and offer protection against drops and falls, weather, sand, dust, etc. and will at least minimize if not prevent damage to your iPod. Good luck.

How do you know its charging very very slowly? Is the screen back on?
Once a month you should charge your phone to 100% then drain it, then charge it back up to 100%.
Just leave the phone in and do what is said above.
