I've got a greyed out circle next to songs that I am trying to put on my daughter's iPhone 5c.

I've looked up previous discussions and to be honest have no idea how to fix the issue. I've tried manual sync, auto sync, deleted, redownloaded and tried again to no avail. I don't understand some of the posts that have been out there on changing file names etc. Please help

Check your preferences under the music tab for your device in iTunes.

How can I grey out the 'Next' button until a user clicks 'Submit'?

Hi guys,
despite how I say it or display it in slides, users don't read the instructions before the quiz. This results in them doing the quiz and then asking me why they scored zero when they answered all the questions. So my question is, how can I disable/deactivate/grey-out the Next button until a user clicks Submit after answering the question?
I've got Captivate 6.1 on a Windows platform.

thanks for your answer - I should think more laterally in future.
In my testing, another question has arisen - how do I get the Next button behind the Clear button? It sounds stupid but I can't get the Next button behind the Clear. I go in to the Master Slide, click on Next to highlight it, and then move it either by the mouse or with the arrow button so that it sits under the Clear button. While Next is still highlighted I click on the button in the toolbar 'Send selected objects backward' to be sure, so that I see 'Clear'. When I go back to the Filmstrip, all I see is 'Next' and when I preview the slides all I see is 'Next' - what am I missing here? What have I failed to do? What am I not understanding?

Where do you see a disabled login? In system preferences? In Login screen?

In I06, I have no way of knowing which songs are on my iphone 4s vs being stored in the cloud. There used to be a small cloud next to songs that were not downloaded. This was important to make sure I had the music I wanted when in an airplane.

In the new i06 that I just loaded into my 4s, I have no way of knowing which songs are on my iphone vs stored in the cloud. There used to be a small cloud next to songs that were not on the phone. This is an important piece of information if you are a frequent traveller, as most of the flights I am on don't have onboard wifi, so it becomes a crap shoot as to what I will have available to listen to.
Is there a way I can view what songs are actually stored locally?

Go to Settings > Music and set "show all music" to OFF.

I exported my iBook and got the .ibooks file on my Desktop(iMac Retina 5K), I tried to put the file into the iBooks application but I get a message that says "The file "______.ibooks" couldn't opened because it isn't in the correct format.

I took the same file and transferred it in my MacBook Air and was able to put it in the iBooks application no problem, the MacBook Air runs OS X v 10.9.5
Please advise as to Why it would work on an older OS X version as oppose to the newer OS X Yosemite

I may be doing something wrong because looking at the "Purchased" in iBooks I only see all the books that I actually purchased, none of the iBooks that I created in iBooks Author shows up. I can re-download all the iBooks I've purchased and some in iCouds, but the ones I've created in iBooks Author are no where to be found.

Greyed out circle, but I have enough memory?

Usually the circle means I didn't have enough memory, so I just clear out stuff I don't want and it's fine. However, I have 5.81GB free (according to the little bar at the bottom, but it's lied to me before)... I'm trying to put on one song, but it won't let me. I'm preeettttyyyyyyy sure this song is not over 5GB. I was actually trying to put the whole album on, but that didn't work, so I tried just one song... still didn't work. I'm backing up my iPod now, thinking of wiping it and putting everything back on... but that's such a hassle. I'd really love for iTunes to just work instead of messing up every single time I try to do anything. D:
I haven't updated iTunes recently, could that effect it? Why does that effect it? I'll just roll on the floor and sing to myself if it keeps giving me trouble bleh.

iTunes eventually updated after I did it manually. Songs still not syncing, though. I've updated and reinstalled iTunes, restarted all the little mobile device support things, ran diagnostics, renamed the sync folder, moved stuff around, changed it to the recommended file type, let iTunes put it in its own little music folder. Done everything but restore my iPod, but that always takes forever and a day... and I'm paranoid of losing stuff. I don't have access to my old music files right now so I don't wanna risk it.

Dotted circles next to songs, won't sync, red circle with square?

I've tried everything and NOTHING works... At first I had those stupid dotted circles next to every song. I restored it to original settings(as told by apple support), then re-synced everything and the songs started downloading and I was ecstatic. But then about half the songs were playable and the other half had the red circle with square inside. I was also told it will take awhile for them fully download considering I have somany songs. I waited over 12 hours with the ipod still connected and nothing changed.
I then saw that someone else on this posted and said to uncheck 'sync songs', sync the device, then click on sync songs and re-sync it, but then that resorted back to where I first started, back to every song having those dotted circles next to them.
I've contacted apple about this issue numerous time and it just seems like they have no idea what they're doing. They were really nice and tried to help as much as they could, but in the end they were absolutely no help and the problem still existed. If anyone could please help me, I'd gladly appreciate it. I have no what to do anymore besides buy a new iPod, and I'd rather not over a stupid problematic thing like this.

Every single song is like and they won't sync.... It is frustrating me so much. I listen to music constantly through-out my day and It annoys me that I hjave to stay at the computer to listen to them. Just a few weeks ago everything was all peachy and worked. In the past weeks I've updated to iOS 7.0.2 and then iOS 7.0.3 the other day. I sometimes wish I hadn't updated to iOS 7, because I never had an issue like this before in the past 10 years of me owning and Apple iPod.

An "other" that large usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.
First try:
"First you go settings/general/usage/music/then left swipe over music and press delete and you would think it deletes your music but it doesn't instead it deletes your other but make sure your ipod is connected to a computer while doing this"

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

Hi, I bought 2 songs off itunes. I have synced my classic and shuffle with no problems. The new songs show ok in my libary but when i view my iphone 5 in itunes these songs appear greyed out with a ring of dots to the left and will not sync to my iphone?

After upgrading to IOS 5.1.1 the Wi-Fi selection in settings greyed out and now says No Wi-Fi. Have tried restting and restoring both from te phone and from Itunes but this does not solve the problem.

I recently upgraded my Iphone 4s to 5.1.1 and founf the Wi-Fi button in settings greyed out saying No Wi-Fi. I have tried Reset network Settings, Rest All Settings and restore in Itunes but to no avail. I understand this is a comon occurence but I cant find a solution to it. Can anybody help?

If this doesn't resolve it you most likely have a hardware failure. Fortunately, your phone is in warranty, so if you take it to an Apple store they will replace it.

I was writing an e-mail and had just spell checked. Thunderbird crashed. When it came back up, the send icon is greyed out (as well as the spell check. I ran through all the help suggestions (including the profile removal). The computer I am having trouble with is Lion 10.7.5. I have it also on 10.6.8 (snow leopard). I am about to give up and start using this computer (10.8.5) for mail - pain in the ..... to have to move everything!

Have a look and make sure your accounts still appear in the settings.
Tools menu > account settings.. It might be something is just rubbish following corruption caused by the crash, but I think it would be fairly obvious just scrolling through the account settings if they look like junk.

White Circle Next to Song

I am trying to upload about 25 songs onto my iPod. There is a white circle next to every single song I am trying to upload. I have deleted songs off of my iPod to make enough room, it says I have 3.67 GB free. I also have the manually manage music and videos box checked. I am only using the iPod for music so I do not have any apps on my iPod, I also turned off iCloud and deleted all my photos, contacts, and calendar things. Please help!
