I've got an email notification, but I have no email?
I can't find the email. I've searched my inbox for unopened emails. I don't have it set to hide filed emails. I've reset the time and date. I've reconciled a thousand times, and even though there isn't an email in my actual inbox (checking through my desktop), I still have the notification. I've restarted the Black Berry... all to no avail.
I'm using an 8330.

Did you try a battery pull? Remove the battery while the phone is on, wait 30 seconds, put it back in and let it load up (takes a few minutes).
I find I get the notification icon when I open an email with images and let it "get all images". If I delete the email before it downloads all the images the notification icon shows up and the battery pull is the only way to make it go away.

but i think your license is dual platform. download the mac version and see if your serial number will activate. if not, at least, you'll have the 30 day trial to use while waiting for your platform swap.

Then you should have iMessage. Go to Settings > Messages to turn it on and set your Receive At address. Note that iMessage uses the Messages app... standard texts are gree, iMessages are blue.

HI Guys I have recently asked to transfer my Windows creative suite to a Mac computer. I received the serial number but unlike my lightroom install disc, which is win and mac, my Creative Suite disc is windows only, how do I go about installing a Mac version of my creative suite onto the Mac computer?
I am talking about the Ver 3 download link that came with the purchase email.
That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

Can I quickly mute just mail notifications, but still have the phone ring?
Is there a way with my iPhone 4, to mute email, sms sounds when I go to bed, yet let the phone ring normal, and the alarm sound in te morning?
Blackberry had a setting for Phone ringer Only sounds.You could turn off mail and message sounds when you go to bed, then turn them back on in the morning.

Go to appleid.apple.com, click Manage Your Apple ID, sign into your iCloud account (using the wrong email address), it should prompt you to verify it and allow you to edit your email there. If not, then it will bring you to a screen that will show you your name, your email, and any alternate emails you have. Click the edit button next to "Primary Email Address and Apple ID" and change it to your email.

Almost got VPN to work, but Auth failing?

I almost got VPN to work, but I have one last error. Here is, what I did so far:
1.) Configured VPN via Server app
2.) Enabled PPTP like described in Apple support doc
3.) VPN Server is reachable within my home network
4.) VPN Server is reachable from outside my home network
I'd be more than happy if anyone could provide me with some hints on how to fix either of the following two errors
When I try to connect via L2TP (From in- or outside the network), I get the following error:

This might indicate the remote client is trying to make an L2TP connection and you have not yet setup that properly with the same shared secret password at both ends (this different the actual users login password).
Or of course you can correct the remote client and set it to use PPTP. -
I just got an email saying one of my iCloud accounts is full, but didn't tell me which one
I have a family that uses one iTunes account, but four iCloud accounts (from old mobile me accounts). I got an email on the iTunes account saying one of them was full, which probably means I didn't get one device setup correctly with the common iTunes account for the store, and the individual iCloud account for personal backups, etc
How can I see which device is registered to the iTunes account for its iCloud (instead of the old mobile me account) without logging into each device?
Is there any way for me to monitor four separate iCloud accounts (space utilization) to see if anyone needs cleaning up. As the family sysadmin, I don't want to find out later someone's space ran over and they haven't been backup up in months.Here are more details. The email that's not working says, "password rejected for security reasons, please sign in to reset password". I've reset the password numerous times (not at once but I wait a couple days to change it) and it's still rejecting each new one. I signed in to iCloud.com and in my Advanced Settings I "Reset Documents and Data". iCloud does not show any of my email devices (I have a Macbook Pro, iPhone & iPad). iCloud says if my devices aren't showing I must be signed in to iOS 8 or OS X which I am. I'm receiving all email except for the one email account. It is a secondary iCloud account, me.com. After doing the resets, restarting my Mac, the email account is STILL telling me I have to reset the password, which is where I'm stuck. Also, my AppleID/iCloud email is a valid gmail account I've been using for 5 years.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. After setting up my new laptop, I got an email from Apple about upgrading to OSX Lion. I wasn't sure what the email was so I accidentally deleted it. Afterwards, I was informed that I need this upgrade and I have no way of retrieving this email. Is there anyway another email can be sent out to me so I don't have to purchase OSX Lion through the App Store?

I bought additional mega bytes for my Ipad2. I was trying to backup my stuff and each time it claimed about availability of space. after buying the space using my credit card,I got an email from apple saying that 'the following changes to your apple ID we're made n 17 July 2014 at 14:38 GMT. But I still can't backup stuff and there is no increase in space please help me, what should I do?

My iphone got stolen yesterday night, I activated lost mode but the phone was off and couldnt be tracked, today i just got an email about the last place the phone was found yesterday night, its off again, i went there but they said that nobody has found an iphone, police does not do anything also, what should i do?My iPhone was stolen. Straight away I used the findmyiphone app. No surprise that the phone had been turned off, rendering the app totally useless.
I thought its ok, I've got a pin code. My brother then goes on to tell me that they are easily bypassed.
My brother states that if you put an iPhone in dfu mode, connect that iPhone too iTunes
That iTunes detects the said phone is in dfu mode and does a system restore.
Wiping the phone and giving the Theif a brand new iPhone!!!

Check in your iTunes folder on your computer to find the files. If they are there, then drag on top of iTunes to import them in. If they are not there, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

While launching Mail, I clicked on Safari, to check something while Mail got new emails, but now Mail appears on the same screen as Safari. Is there a way I can return it to it's own screen, please?

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

48 Hours ago I started to upgrade to Mountain Lion on a now 10 day old IMac - 30 minutes ago I got the email with the content code and redeem code for the download from the app store - it said download was happening, but nothing happened for 30 min - HOW DO I (or you) FIX IT!?
