I've had Elements 8 for over a year(5-14-10 to be exact).
Have used Elements 8 since 5-14-10. Everything worked well, except Organizer has never worked. I haven't needed that. Recently, one week ago, I tried to open elements 8 and got error 15. I have used the license recovery tool, but that didn't work. I need to get elements 8 working, I'm a teacher and I process over 700 pictures for my classroom. Customer support was no help. Help!!

I got that message yesterday. I'm new at this so don't know if this is the correct solution but it worked for me. I reset my iPod by holding the 2 buttons down until the apple appears AND I restarted my computer. After that everything worked.

I called Apple technical support in Denmark, but with no positive reply.
She couldn't do anything, and said that They had sent a recall Email about the problem and with their offer to repair the Macbook Pro, but I'd never recieved an Email about the problem. She wasn't in power to make an exception. It can't be true that i paid a lot of money, for a product that can't barely stand on its own feets, Apple didn't tell me that the product I was about to buy, would restart every 5 minute. and now when they know the problem, they wont repair it? it just don't make sense for me. If a car seller discovers that all the brakes in a car he had sold, will crash after some years he will call all the cars back to repair no mater what. i just don't understand how Apple will make good service for their custumers, by extending the warranty from 2 to 3 years, but wont take the computers there is a little bit to old, 4 months will make the difference. i can't believe it.
What can i do now?

When I open iWeb it does not "Highlight" the New site or new page options. It has had this issue for over a year! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it. What do I do? It opens the tutorial video, then when you close it, nothing else is clickable.
Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

I have the iPhone 5 and I keep getting a no sim card message. I have had my phone for over a year now so I know I have a sim card. How can I fix this because it doesn't let me get calls now.
Try resetting the phone. Hold the home and power lock button until the Apple logo appears.If that does not work, turn the phone off and take the SIM out and then put it back in.
If that still does not work, you may have a defective SIM, in which case you will need a new one from your carrier. -
I am not able to redeem my itunes gift card. It says that it has not properly been activated. I have had this card for over a year is it expired?
Ask the people at the store the gift card came from or the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

Just downloaded iTunes to new dell laptop, tried syncing my iPhone get an error message: "this iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". What is the issue, had this phone over a year??
I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck! -
My iPhone 4 lock button is stuck and Ive had my phone for over a year. What do I do.
My iPhone 4 lock/home button is stuck and I'm out of warranty. How much will it cost to fix the button cause I have no other problems. Or will they cover it because people were saying it's a defect?
I was able to pay someone to replace the button completely for much less than what Apple wanted.

I can understand why Apple has a 1 year warranty, but I believe a busted power button constitutes a design flaw and thus is defective (much like the iBook logic board from 2003 we had to sue them over).

BruceSome people will periodically run OnyX, which is a disk maintenance program. You can download it from http://www.titanium.free.fr/download.php . Run the tasks on the cleaning and maintenance tabs. With any disk maintenance software, you should have a backup before using it. I've used OnyX for years, and it works well. Others have found that it helps with performance when run periodically.
Make sure you don't have less than 5GB, or keep 10% to 15% of your hard drive free for systems usage. Less than that can crimp systems performance.

It seems to have finally been fixed in firefox 22 (or 21). I'd love to know what the original cause of the problem was and whether it was fixed by firefox or OS XI dont think any bugs were filed like this, likely something Apple fixed.
