I have had it with all the problems cause by iOS 8. First my iPod does not charge properly. I have to charge it on computer because if I use a wall charger the battery charges then lowers like if it were possessed by some demon. And today, I thought I could listen to music to my surprise, I can't I mean the songs are there but I can't listen to them. ***! Good job apple! I really love the new iOS 8 update. I love having like over 30 missing songs and a defective battery. Thanks! I would recommend it I every one. Download iOS 8 guys! You WON'T regret it! iOS has new features like new unwanted apps, faulty battery life, deleted music, and I dunno, a freezing screen? It's the best!

That you have described.My only recommendation is to do a backup,restore with iTunes
And then restore the backup.If the problem still persists then my friend there is a problem

Is QT 7.2 causing all these issues?

I downloaded mountain lion and then iPhoto '11 in order to tap into iCloud capabilities with all of my devices. (My Mac was outdated in regards to operating platform to do this). After installing iPhoto 11, I had to repair and rebuild my library of photos. However, after doing this, all of my albums were jumbled and, while I can see the image thumbnail, when I click on the thumbnail, and error that looks like a black triangle and gray exclamation pops up as opposed to the larger hi def image I want to view.

I want to buy a 27" but I'm afraid with all these problems...

I've been on the fence all week about buying a 27" iMac. I've been reading these forums all week about these problems everyone is having with their new iMacs, the magic mouse, etc. Should I wait until these issues have been fixed? I dont want to go and buy one and have problems with it and have to call AppleCare about a brand new machine.

If "everyone" is having problems, Apple Discussions' servers would have melted down by now. Please keep in mind that Apple sells Macs at a rate of over 10 million per year. I don't know how many new iMacs have been sold (it is probably a large number), but "everyone" is not having problems. Only people who are having issues will bother to post a new topic to report a problem; customers who are NOT having problems will usually not post just to say they are happy and everything is great. So for every person who posts about a problem, you do not know if there are 100, 1000, or 10,000 people who are NOT having any issues.
So even if it is as low as 1000 to 1, there will be hundreds (eventually even thousands) of people who will potentially post a topic about a problem with the new iMac. If you use posts on Apple Discussions as your primary "research," you will get a warped view of reality. I have a +Late 2006+ iMac. According to posts I have read on Apple Discussions, it should have had a problem with its video card or optical drive by now. But instead, it has been perfect.

Downloaded ios5 to my iPad, had trouble with all my apps but that got fixed. now the whole thing is so slow it is almost useless. have rebooted, didn't help

i downloaded ios5 to my ipad. Initially had problem with apps which was fixed by downloading an upgrade and they all staarted working. But everything is so slow it is almost useless. i have tried rebooting, it didn't help.

Other users have reported this very same issue after updating their iPads. You are using the original iPad according to your profile and those devices seem to be the more adversely affected devices. You can try the basic things and see if any of this helps.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If none of those things help, you can always try restoring your iPad. I have restored mine with some success, but I still have issues that I hope will be resolved soon.
An update to the iOS has been announced and it is in Beta now. Hopefully it will be released to all users soon.

What the heck am I supposed to do with all these .xmp files?

Hi all.
I have been having all these .xmp files, or pages, or whatever appearing on my desk top when I upload some of my images. I click on the info query and they are full of code and adobe is one of the things I can make out. I assume they have something to do with my elements editing, like info about images. I should keep them right? How is the best way to keep them?

Yesterday I was trying to open an image file in PSE that I uploaded from my new camera's memory card via the program I'm supposed to use for transfering images to my computer, ViewNX2.
I played around with the rating capabilities and tags and such and thought all was well. But when I tried to open these images in PSE I got a error message. Something about "end of file"? I have assumed that the problem of opening the file is related to these activities because it never happened before I started using the new camera. And the pictures I did not assign little stars and such to, opened fine.
What be the dealio?
And is the scoop on this Adobe DNG? One of my files mysteriously had that extension appear and I didn't ask it to do this.

AE2220 has all these issues

Hi,
I have the MSI AE2220, which I bought in April 2010, so the warranty has now run out.
Previously I have sent it back for repair three times because it wouldn't turn on or boot.
Since about a year ago, i have had lots of problems after I accidentally deleted a windows file in an attempt to remove a virus.
The issues I am having consist of:
-Windows allowing me to boot and login before an error message saying "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer." the error code is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and other code 0x0000000A. It then just freezes on that screen. Usually, after repeating the login process for around 2 hours it works and allows me to use the computer properly.
-When I turn the computer on, it loads for a while and then when the Windows 7 screen appears it just turns off. This only happens once in a while, but again is very frustrating.
-When I tried to reinstall windows it came up with a message saying there isn't enough space, do I have to delete everything before I can do this?
With all that in mind, what is my best course of action? Do I reinstall windows? Adjust some settings? Send it away to be fixed?

If you had a virus, you should definatly re-format the hdd (Assuming is passed chkdsk) and only keep the files that can't be easily replaced.

What is the deal with all these relocated channels?

Get them off my menu already!! Anyone else's guide have this? When i am scrolling through my menu i have to browse through hundreds of channels with an "x" in front of them, saying the yhave been relocated...ok so then i'll figure out where they are myself. Is there anyway to get all these "dead" channels of my guide? ITS SO ANNOYING

I don't think I could stand it if I didn't use the Favorites, there are just so many channels that I have no interest in. I have probably removed 200+ channels so that I never see them. I just never use the full Guide at all, it took a few days to get in the habit but I would never go back (Unless Verizon adds the ability to remove channels from the full Guide).
Customize your Favorites and then just never use the Guide button, use the Favorites button instead, you won't regret it.

Anyone else had problems with SAP Marketplace issued key codes?

Hi! I know this forum can't really help me resolve my key code problem but I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with their key codes issued by SAP Marketplace since Business Objects switched over to SAP's system?
I purchased 10 concurrent licenses, when I requested my key code through SAP Marketplace the product description said 10 concurrent but when I recevied my code and entered it Crystal Reports Server XI, it told me I only have 1 concurrent license.
I feel like I'm caught in a loop in their support system. I've tried the Business Objects support email and after several emails back and forth, they told me I had go through SAP support. I tried the phone number they gave me and it didn't work. Since then I submitted a support incident through SAP Service Channel, I thought someone was helping me because they requested more information but I haven't heard back from them in a couple of days.
Has anyone else had problems, if so, how did you resolve them?

I had exactly the same problem.
Currently I have BO XI Edge 2 SP3 installed.
After a test upgrade to BO XI Edge 3.0, I applied teh newly issued licence key(5 cals.
Unfortunately only 1 was registered.
It was impossible to logon to the system.
I have lodged a case with BOSAPASIA. Below is theyr reply!!!!

With All These New Feature Packs........

With all the new feature packs that have been introduced here is a list of features that i would like to see introduced also.....
1. A password protected folder for all media files as well as document files
2. Better use of the gallery/albums....if an image is stored in the albums folder it shouldnt also appear (still) in the gallery section
3. Instead of all images being shown in the gallery irrespective of them being stored on the phone memory or memory card, users should be able to "switch" between images on phone, images on memory....only the albums folder should show images irrespective.(this feature was on previous S60 models)
4.dual sim card slots....i have two sims one for personal and one for business sometimes its a bit annoying having to take the battery out etc. to switch sims.Plus while i have my business sim in i could miss a personal call and vice verce
5.Bluetooth AD2P becoming a standard on higher end phones
6.Text to speech becoming a standard on (higher end/all) phones
7.settings in the camera should not return to default after the application is closed...if i set my camera settings for "night mode" and close the camera application when i return to "night mode" my settings should still be there rather than me having to do this all over everytime.
this is what i have come up with please add constructive ideas here.....

Hi i lost all my pics from photo stream after ios 6 update and 3 major restores tried everything i can think of but i am very stuck as i only have xp pc wot can i do???? Hope someone is able to help me.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off".

After ordering my black notebook (actually, an Apple Store refurbished one), I read many online comments and complaints which gave me considerable trepidation. Since receiving my Macbook this week however, I’ve been closely inspecting and putting it through it’s paces, and after several days, I can report high satisfaction and none of the anticipated problems.
It runs about 98 degrees fahrenheit after 1/2 hour of use in the office (According to the Fujitsu Smart Disk Widget which I downloaded for free).
The magsafe connection is NOT hot.
The case is NOT misaligned.
NO MOOING or whining.
The fan is NOT loud. It’s barely a whisper, when it comes on. (I prop up the Macbook at the back to let air circulate underneath.)
The shiny screen IS great! So much brighter with gorgeous colors, than my previous 13” iBook.
The size/weight IS perfect to fit the hand and be carried about.
I am using my harman/kardon speakers, wireless keyboard and mouse, and will buy a 23” Dell screen for about $650 for use in the home office. So the warm keyboard/mouse will NOT be an issue for me. The reported sharp edge hurting the edge of the palms mystifies me. With my fingers on the keyboard, the edge is several inches distant from the rear of my hands... and my hands are normal size???
The black matte finish is nice. NO FLAKING anywhere.
The optical player DOES NOT scratch my DVD’s.
512 megs of ram is NOT enough. I tried zooming about the globe to various spots in Google Earth, and it became jerky, sputtered, and nearly stopped. If I open several programs at the same time, the last one opened slows down to a crawl. (I’ve ordered 2 gigs of ram from a 3rd party for about half of Apple’s price.)
The REMOTE and FRONT ROW is GREAT.
PHOTO STUDIO is GREAT also. What more can be said?
The refurbished model did NOT come in the original packing. Too bad.
I’m sorry for those folks who reported the problems, but I am now reassured that they are most likely in the small, unfortunate minority, and not the normal experience. Those reported problems should not stop anyone from buy a new Macbook. It is by far the best machine I’ve ever owned.

With version 4 I can't use cogniview pdf2xl printer or scrolling Snagit. If they don't resolve all these issues I'm going back to IE.

okay. since the 4.06 update, my phone has constant low storage space (which we all now by now IS NOT the case) and today, we've gotten a new message to add: "please make at least 512 kb free space to recieve messages"....
please don't ask if i have enough space- i have an sd card with plenty of room, and there is plenty of internal phone space as well phone memory space. not trying to be rude, just we all know that this issue is a continous problem on this phone.
i tried the trick someone mentioned where we set the date of our phone ahead one month- and then it wants to update to the 4.08 update.
i did that multiple times- it appears to download 4.08, but NEVER gets through the actual "restart & reboot" process. no matter what. resetting the phone. taking battery in & out. removing sd card. nothing will get this phone to actually INSTALL the updated software.
this phone is slower than molasses. it errors constantly. closes down apps all the time. has a delay that makes me want to hurt something.
can someone PLEASE tell me how the hell to fix this phone? or IS there a fix? is this an android issue? a verizon issue? or an htc issue?????

okay- so... if you go to settings, about phone and click software- if your version is the 4.06, it's NOT up to date (even if your phone says it is)....
there is a 4.08 version that a lot of us have been trying and trying and trying to get to upload.
i have literally done EVERYTHING listed in these and other forums (including the reboot, the setting the date forward one month to one year) except what i finally did today- and it not only uploaded the 4.08 software, but it INSTALLED it as well (which was the main problem to being with. i could download the update, but it would either get stuck on the install/reboot page and never move from there, or the ONE time it actually did shut the phone down and restart, it said i didn't have enough space to install the update)! woo hoo!!!!
i looked at all of my downloaded apps, and then sorted them by size. i uninstalled the 8 biggest applications (twitter, facebook, movies, slacker, maps, i heart radio, etc) and then i restarted my phone. eventually, it downloaded the 4.08 update and i got the "install now" "install later" button... i hit install now and it really did reboot my phone! it also installed it. it took a bit of time, but it was doing things it had never done the past couple of weeks! so i knew it was actually working! woooo hooo!!!!
i reinstalled all of my uninstalled applications and they're fine. plenty of room on the phone, no issues there *knock on wood*.
and then all at once, i sat back and listened to 38 text messages come in (i stopped getting texts at some point thursday night)....
the low space icon is GONE! there is a new space thing in the settings- sd card & phone- called data settings (the one everyone keeps talking about that has virtually no memory/space)...
the only issue that i can see as of now- is that all of my photo's have disappeared. the ones on the phone as well as the sd card. my photo album shows 0 pictures.
and so yeah... to everyone, i recommend uninstalling some applications and then trying to get the new 4.08 to download and install. if your phone gets stuck and never reboots- download a few more apps. that is what i did until it freaking worked.
