I've had it with the low volume!
Where can I go to complain to Apple about the fact that my 3G iPhone will not hold the setting on the volume control? I am tired of missing calls because I can't hear the phone! I keep re-setting the volume all the way up on both the side switch and in settings... and it keeps dropping down to 1/3 the level all on it's own with no specific reason for doing so. I'VE HAD IT!

Who did that? I'm assuming not Apple, correct? Take the phone back to whoever replaced the battery & have them fix things.

'Music' displays but won't play. Settings appear correct and iPhone (3G) is selected for output. Startup screen intermittently displays with the lower pause/play volume bar for no clear reason..... developed at the same time as play failure. Ideas????

Appearane of 'Music' functions (I>> > II <<I, plus volume slider) on the lock/log in screen (when first turning on the iPhone) thus far seems without pattern, i.e. regardless of which if any applications are up in the background, and indeed even when all have been quit.
All visual aspects of 'Music' appear normal after launch including the title scroll across the top in vertical mode. However, while pressing play (>) converts the play (>) icon to pause (II), selected song does not play and the elapsed time bar (upper end between the track count and the repeat/shuffle icons) remains stationary at 0:00 or at any point to which it is dragged. When using home sharing this same problem persists regardless of what output is selected.

I recently updated my primary email address associated with my Apple ID account.
Now when I go to App store on my iPad it still tries to login to the App store using the old email address I had associated with the account, and naturally my password doesn't work. I can't figure out how to tell my iPad to login using the updated email address.
So in effect I'm locked out of the app store and I currently have 26 updates waiting.
I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my IPad to iCloud with no luck.. However I cloud happens to show the correct/updated email address.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
ThanksDid you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

at a customer’s site I’ve a problem with a fresh installation of Backup Exec 2014. Every backup (full or incremental) always reports the following
error: “An unexpected error occurred when cleaning up snapshot volumes. Confirm that all snapped volumes are correctly re-synchronized with the original volumes.”.
It’s not a Backup Exec problem itself, also backups using “Windows Server Backup” failing with the same error.
On this site I have three servers; the error is only generated for one of them. Here’s a short overview:
Server1: Windows Server 2012 R2, latest patchlevel, physical machine, Domain Controller and Fileserver. Backup Exec is installed on this machine,
backup is written directly to SAS tape loader. There error is generated on this server.
Server2: Windows Server 2008 R2, latest patchlevel, virtual machine, running on Citrix Xen Server 6.2. Used for remote desktop services, no errors
on this server.
Server3: Windows Server 2012 R2, latest patchlevel, virtual machine, database server with some SQL Instances, no errors on this server.
As I said, error is reported only on server1, no matter if it is a full or an incremental backup. During the backup I found the following errors

Disabled Antivirus during the whole backup
Installed latest Service Pack for Backup Exec
Rebooted the server
vssadmin list writers do not show any errors
consult eventid.net for other possible solutions
no limits set for vaa

Has anyone had issues with the iphone 4s and facebook. I have downloaded the app and sometimes it will let me log in and then it will log me out and not let me back in. I have deleted and downloaded it several times and nothing is working. HELP!

@tata - we're having the same trouble, and the only solution we've found doesn't fix it.
1) uninstall
2) login on PC/MAC and change password
3) reboot iphone
4) install facebook app, reboot again
5) login from iphone.
No joy.
Safari works, but not for the apps.
Of course, it's Facebook that has to fix this. -

II've had issues with the accelerometer in the iPhone 6 plus. I went from landscape mode and then went into podcast app. I went to the search tab and this is the keyboard that came up:
This isn't the only issue with the accelerometer though. I've also come out of clash of clans which is a landscape only mode game. I go to my home screen and my wallpaper is in landscape still but my apps are in portrait? The seems to be some RAM issues with the iPhone 6 plus but I'm not sure if that has any issue with the transition from landscape to portrait.Belynda227,
That's definitely odd, we certainly need to get to the bottom of this so you can use it safely while driving. Have you been able to use it in the past without completing the factory reset? The factory reset deleted everything from your phone, is that the type of reset you're doing? If so, you need to pair your phone every time, which explains the problem. Is your car compatible with the phone? Some cars are not compatible, in this case some features work but not all. Use http://vz.to/11fpca7 to review compatibility.

Has anyone had problems with the latest Lexmark printer driver update? My Lexmark printers won't work with the latest driver update. If I reinstall an older version of the drivers, they work.

Oh no, Robinbird18! This is not what we like to hear about your cell phone. It makes it pretty hard to have a conversation with someone when you can't hear them. If you make a phone call out are you able to have a conversation with someone without any issues? How long has this been going on? I'm looking to buy a macbook pro. I will be doing some video editing with it. Would it be better to go a bit pricier to get the
2.0ghz quad core or stick with the lower priced 2.7ghz dual core?Video is the magic word for fast CPUs, large screens, maximum RAM and large HHDs. Ditto what eww says and do not order RAM and HDD upgrades through Apple. It is much, much less expensive through third party vendors.

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.
