I've had my Apple iPhone 4s for less than 6 months and the camera has stopped working. How do I go about fixing it or getting a new phone?
There is a manufacturers warranty of one year. If you call 800-922-0204 they will send you a second hand iPhone. You then send the broken camera one back per their instructions.
Or just walk into an Apple retail location and they can fix or replace on the spot. Personally I would go to the Apple store.

PS if the camera shows signs of breakage Verizon will charge you for the cost of the device. Apple will also unless you opt for a repair which could also run some money.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.
If this does not help, and to rule out a software issue, set it up as new device without using the latest backup, in case that backup contains corrupt data.
Is the camera working after that, restore from the backup. Is the camera still not working, this might be a hardware failure and you'll have to get the phone serviced by Apple:

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). -

restore works but then it happens again every daySounds like you have a corrupt app or software. Restore AS NEW. Then try without any 3rd party apps. If the phone works, begin adding your apps back one by one and trying your phone between each new app to see which might be at fault.

You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

You can't reset it. If you don't konw the password then you can't use that backup

I have just recently noticed that in my Mail inbox on my iPhone 5 it is only showing 10 or so previous messages. I have turned my phone on and off, reset mail settings and made sure I have selected show 200 recent messages but still only a few show up. I have also just added my Uni email account to my iPhone and it hasn't loaded any previous emails, it's just an emty mailbox.
