I've had my ipod for six months now and its decided not to work, what can i do to fix it

i've had my 7th Gen ipod nano since Christmas and for the last few days it hasn't turned on, its been on the charger for 3 days and it still wont turn on is there anything I can do to fix it?

Take it to an Apple store genius bar and if it is defective they will replace it since it is in warranty.

Mountain Lion - Apple I have been downloading mountain lion for 5 hours now, and its still not processing! This is not good please sort out!

Ok, I'm now getting really annoyed with downloading Mountain Lion. I left my Mac Book Pro - 6 month old in download mode all night and nothing! I have started again and in 5 hours about 5%!
What is going on - Apple is this good customer service?

It could be your Internet connection and not the Apple servers. I downloaded it again (although I already had the GM developer version) over a very slow Internet connection and it took about 3 1/2 hours. You can always pause and then resume the download - Lauchpad will let you know how your download is proceeding.

Whenever i try to play a video on my iphone, it pauses literally every 2 seconds. i will hit the play button, the video will play for a few seconds and then it will pause again. what can i do to fix this?

I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

Disc Burn Error #4450 - This has been going on for six months now!

I cannot burn discs anymore since two upgrades ago. I have tried EVERYTHING, different discs, cleaning out my computer and my iTunes library, making sure nothing was running in the background ... etc. NO luck. I have no clue what to do now and have not been able to burn discs for six months now. Is there an actual support phone number? This is ridiculous! I remember it was a big problem a while ago, and now they want us to upgrade to iTunes 8. If anyone has any suggestions that they can throw my way it would be greatly appreciated. It's possible I might be missing something, but my discs were burning fine before, of course, I upgraded.

So I had my iPod for almost a week, and I had added songs and a video file to it. It seemed fine, then one day I plugged it in, it started updating and it just stopped on a song. I thought iTunes had frozen, but it was fine. Then I started to hear a clicking sound coming from inside my iPod. Well, i started to freak out, so I quit iTunes so I could hopefully stop whatever was happening. When I did that, the screen stayed on "Do Not Disconnect" for a while, so I tried resetting it. When I did this the apple screen came up, the the little icon that means your iPod is sick (or whatever). Now I cant do anything with it.
What happened?

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.

Since it's a new machine, contact Apple's Support and let them deal with it. Allen's already recommended an Apple repair station visit. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you might be eligible for an onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine (depends on where you're located). BTW, the AppleCare Protection Plan's the best warranty policy available for desktop machines. Get it if you don't have it before contacting Apple.

I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon).
