I've installed the ImageMagick or LRMogrify plug-in, but where is it and how do I use it?

So the title basically explains my question - I've done the install, but I don't know what to do next.

I run Vista and LR 2.5 my location is C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.5.7-Q16 which matches his picture. I really like Armes software but the installation assumes a lot more tech knowledge than I have.
Once you have it installed and registered using Plug-in Manager, http://www.photographers-toolbox.com/products/lrmogrify.php?sec=quickguide will get you started. I spent several hours playing with it to understand using the program. There are help pages at ImageMagick but I did not find them clear or easy and ended up using trial and error. In the end the effort was worth the trouble.

For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR.

I've installed the full version of After Effects, but codecs like MPEG2 and MPEG2-DVD are still miss

The title kind of explains it. I've installed Master Collection CS5.5 as a full version, but After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder are still missing the protected content. I've rebooted and updated, and rebooted again. I've installed as a trial and then entered the serial number later, and I've also tried using the serial number during the install. It seems no matter what combination I try, I can't get MPEG2 to show up in the export list.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

When I had IE9 I had "Print Friendly" button in my browser, I know they make it for Firefox also, but where is it and how do I put the button in my Toolbar?

I went to the website and it said it downloaded, but when I click on the button in my Toolbar, nothing happens. I seen on a search engine that they make "Print Friendly" for Firefox now. For Apache 2.x I think you use LoadModule instead of AddModule. That's what
the docs say anyway.

One thing is the memory, and another thing is the hard disk space. You are telling me that you have 200 GB of free space on the hard disk, but the App Store is telling you that you have to install 2 GB of memory or more on your Mac if you want to upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.
First of all, open  > About this Mac > More Info, and copy "Model Identifier" here, so we can know what Mac you have got and how much memory you can install.
We recommend to buy the memory in OWC or Crucial (Crucial is cheaper and offers the same compatibility warranty as OWC) because you won't probably have any problem with the memory you buy there

You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

We use an ipad cart at school, and some of the teachers will connect all the ipads up to the cart, but then neglect to power up the cart. The laptop with the cart has already had the battery wrecked because of this (within a two month period), and I am concerned the ipads may have an issue if this continues to happen. I need some reassurance before I make the other teachers paranoid!

ok this one is kind in the gray area for me. I say if it is plugged in to a power up cart but not plugged in to a outlet, then all is is doing is not charing, and of course lossing a charge over time in standby, not really causing any issues. User guide and apple sites say it will drain the battery life.

however “Battery life” means the time your iPad will run before it must be recharged.
so I think it will be ok, as long as you charge it as usaul it should be fine.
