i've just moved to china, how do i change to a chinese credit card?

Hi..
Open iTunes. From the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Sign In then click View My Account right side of the iTunes window. You can change your payment type in the Edit Payment Information window.
Be aware, your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

  • How do I change from having a credit card to not having one on my iTunes?

How do I change from having a credit card to not having one on iTunes? It's not giving me the option

The "none" option will not be available if you owe a balance on your iTunes Store account, and may not be available even then.
If you are certain you don't owe Apple anything then contact iTunes Store Support and ask them the reason.

  • Can an iPhone 4S purchased in Canada be used in mainland China and download apps by using a Chinese credit card?

    Hi,
Can an iPhone 4S purchased in Canada be used in mainland China, and also download apps by using a Chinese credit card?
    Thanks.

Could it be because the SIM card got damaged while I cut it to fit the IPhone?
Very likely. Hard to believe the carrier in Mexico doesn't have a micro-SIM card available.
Or somehow the Chinese carrier found out and locked it?
    No, which is not possible.
What can I do? Get a new SIM and see if it works again?
Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget.

  • How do I change my account from credit card to redeemable iTunes cards

No matter what I do it tells me I have to give them valid credit card information. I no longer have one. I got a $15 iTunes card but It won't use it just keeps telling me the was a billing issue. I owe $10 to them but it won't take it off the iTunes card. So now I can't update even free apps. How can I fix this

    Are you moving to Canada?
You can ask Apple to set the balance to zero (personally I would spend it down as much as possible).

  • How can I change the Country and Credit card Apple ID without loose the app installed ?

Hi, I move from Brazil to Qatar and keep using my account at Brazil since I have a credit card there and the old address.
Today Ireceived a message when I was updating my app at my iPad that I should change my payment method that was rejected (???), I try to update and keep the same message... So now maybe better to use address and card from Qatar.
I could not understand how can I change the country and shop since everything at the address is linked to Brazil.
Also I'm afraid to lose the installed app...
Please, a step by step will help a lot, I have a very low computer experience ...

You won't lose apps that are installed.   You will lose the ability to update them
Business with the App stores is restricted to those stores in your formal country of residence (your billing address) and a bank supported credit card from that same country.   You can buy and update apps with those details only in that country.
If you have established residences and bank supported accounts in other countries you can also use those.   You can buy and update apps in those countries using those details.
You cannot interchange them.   You cannot merge IDs or purchase details.

  • I just purchased Mountain Lion on the app store, put in new credit card and agreed to terms then nothing happend. How do I know if I purchased this upgrade?

I just purchased Mountain Lion on the app store, put in new credit card and agreed to terms then nothing happend. How do I know if I purchased this upgrade?

Sometimes if you make a purchase for the first time, use a new billing method (ie credit card) or the App Store terms have changed, I've noticed that you need to press the "Buy" button twice for the purchase to actually go through (ie, you press Buy, you agree to the terms, and you have to press Buy again). You won't get double-charged.
You can check if the purchase is actually downloading by looking in the Purchased tab of the App Store - the Mountain Lion installer will be there if it worked. If not, try the Buy button again.

  • Just purchased used ipad. how do i change owner name on it?

just purchased used ipad. how do i change the owner name on it?

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents And Settings should put the iPad back to factory settings, and you should then be able to associate your account id with it (Settings > Store) and you can give it a new name when connected to iTunes on your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3965)

  • HT2534 I  don't have a credit card and would like to update facilities on my iPAD. How can I do this without a credit card?

I don't have a credit card and would like to make updates on my iPAD. How can one manage this without a credit card?

You use a debit card just like you use a credit card in iTunes. You have to enter the card number, security code and billing address as you would with a credit card when you set up the ID. You can make changes to your payment method in your account at any time.
If you want to create an Apple ID without using a credit card you must first sign out of the Apple ID that you already created in Settings>Store>Your Apple ID.
But ...you will also need another email address now if you already created an Apple ID, because that first email address is now associated with that first ID that you created.
If you do have a debit card, you may just be better off entering that card information into your account and use that now. You don't need to even use the debit card if you can purchase iTunes gift cards and redeem those. I use iTunes gift cards exclusively now instead of using my credit card.

  • How to activate apple id without a credit card?

    Hello!
I've already registered an apple id but can't activate it without a credit card. What can I do? I need to login within an iphone.

    There was no solution given!
I get to "Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account without a credit card" and there is no info at all!
"If you have registered your product or used any Apple services, you should follow this article to use an existing Apple ID with the iTunes Store or Mac App Store."
And in this article there's no info on how to use account without adding a credit card!
As I understand, there's no way to use an account without credit card, if it wasn't created in special way, don't I right?
No, you're wrong.  You can choose 'None' as a payment option even on an existing Apple ID, as long as there is no outstanding balance in your current iTunes account.
Click on the part in that article that says: updating your iTunes Store account information.
On that article, you'll see how to change your payment information to 'None', and what to do if None isn't showing or you can't select it.
Read the entire articles that we recommend.  Don't just skim through it and make assumptions.

  • I can't register itunes to the USA i live in china, i don't want to use my credit card

i can't register itunes to the USA i live in china, i don't want to use my credit card

    (cross-posting from another thread)
I'm having the same problem. It's as if my iPhone and MacBook Pro now have two separate calendars.
Basically, I have a MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion, 13", late 2011) that I sync via USB with an iPhone 4S (iOS 5.1.1). Before upgrading to Mountain Lion, all of my iCal events would sync flawlessly. But none of the events I've created in iCal (Calendars) since upgrading have synced to the iPhone. Likewise, no new events that I create on the iPhone Calendar will sync to iCal. Also, changes to an existing event (even one created before upgrading to Mountain Lion) don't get synced either.
Everything else seems to be syncing just fine though (music, apps, contacts, etc).

How do you get around needing a credit card for setting up family sharing?

I appreciate the replies about needing to setup a credit card for agreeing to pay for purchases and letting someone else be the Family Organizer.  The purpose of my question is to know if there is a way around apples requirement to have a valid payment method on file...we have money in our apple account (use iTunes gift cards) and I do not want to store my CC info at apple.  It seems like very odd that money in your account would not be enough to setup Family Sharing.
Very frustrating and just about ready to get rid of all the 15 apple products we currently have.
    Khuerter,
Having a credit card when you set up as Family Organizer is a legal requirement to prove that you are taking financial responsibility for the others on the account.  As Gail noted, there is not a way around that.
Once the account is set up, the Family Organizer can remove the credit card and replace it by a debit card.

If you are referring to an iDevice, sign out of your new Apple ID and sign back in with your old one - they should all be there.
