We are processing your order now. You can modify your order details through online Order Status, or by contacting Apple Online Store Customer Service.

You are not addressing Apple here. No one would know the answer to that particular question. We are users like you and have no connection to Apple. If you just made the order, I would say it probably takes a day to get things in order. You will receive updates from Apple via email.

The nano SIM should come with the phone if you set it up with a carrier.
If you purchased an unlocked phone, you'll have to contact your carrier to get a nano sim card.

  • Curious about the iOS 5 software that is coming out.  If I wait til its release to buy my iPhone 4 will it come with the iOS5 software already on it?  or should I go ahead and buy my iPhone 4 and then update the software when the iOS5 is released?

Yea I would have to say wait until the release of IOS 5, because the phone will probably run it a lot smoother. I mean go ahead and buy the Iphone 4 if you are dying to have it, because you can just update it which is no big deal at all, but it would be the smarter thing to wait for the new updates.
And the networ issue as far as I am aware is fixed on the Verizon iPhones, so it really depends on which service you have.
    - correct me if i am wrong
Have to disagree here, Apple have not even announced an iphone 5, it is pointless to speculate that we will see one or not see one until Apple actually releases a statement. ios was built and tested on the iphone 4 so there will not be any slowdown or laggyness compared to a phone that has not been released yet.
If we are advising potential apple product buyers then we should not be putting them off buying a iphone 4 on speculations alone. Just because apple have for the last few years released an iphone every june/july does not mean then have to stick to this approach.
Apple have not issued any statement regarding an iphone 5, until this time it does not exist, only in heresay on the internet.
Any one looking to get an iphone 4, to you i would say waiting until ios 5 is released is a personal choice, no matter if you wait or not you will be able to update via itunes. One way or another in the future you will have to do an ios update via itunes whether this is the 5.0 software or 5,2,1.
Please note that Apple are very closed mouthed about new hardware releases and potentially a new iphone could be round the corner, however there is no evidence to suggerst this, i.e Apple have not even mentioned an iphone 5 this year anything you hear towards the contrary is media spin thus far and speculation.
ios 5 was built and tested to work seamlessly on iphone 4, the beta software released to developers is being tested on iphone 4. Please do not listen to people telling you that the iphone 4 will not run this ios as well as a phone that does not exist yet. When iphone 5 launches it will most likely have dual processors and not until its launch will the next gen apps start appearing.

  • Considering buying an iphone 5 but am concerned about the maps app. Is it truly an issue?

Considering buying an iphone 5 but am concerned about the maps app. Is it truly an issue?

Depends what you want the maps for.  The image quality of the satellite images is far better than google, the 3-D imagery is fantastic and very useful for me.  I do not use the maps app for finding routes so I can't comment on that.  For me, the only downside is that you cannot download imagery for offline use, though the app does cache imagery that you have viewed when online, so that is a partial fix.  As far as I am concerned, it is way better than anything else I have seen.

  • Just got an iphone... Question about the dock

Ok so I just got an iphone, and love it so far. the one question is, do they make docks that are just a tad bigger to fit it when its in a snap on case type thing? I tried it in the dock for my ipod 160GB and it didnt fit. thickness wise it did but they are about the same width and it just barely wouldnt fit. Any ideas?

  • Just curious about the "next" iPod

So are there any rumors of a "new" iPod being released any time soon? Just wondering what other features, other than a built in radio, they could possibly add? Anyone know of when the next release will be?

  • Just a note to let you know about the Refurbished iPhones....

    Good morning.
I'm sure a number of you will not agree but.....
I purchase all my Apple products refurbished and have never had a single days' problem with anything from a laptop to a Tower and now, the same with my iPhone. As soon as it went on Refurbished sale site I purchase an 8 gig and last weekend a 4 gig for my son. It's amazing.
This is just an fyi, I'm sure some had problems with refurbished products but I've been very lucky thus far.
    Tom

But... just like computers that are refurbished, the iPhone is certified as operating as "NEW".
In the computer business this certification is important since the Government won't accept used equipment but will accept equipment certified as NEW with a totally refresed Warranty.
If the iPhone is certified to work as NEW and Warranted as NEW, the consumer should not be concerned about it's performance as long as the problem that the iPhone had is resolved.

  • 3G iphone outstanding spec! Shame about the plastic back cover!

WOW I am so totally blow away by the spec of the new 3G iphone!
I have only one criticism why when Apple put so much care into the styling of the new Macbook Air & the first gen iphone/ipod touch etc with sleek brushed metal finish to the case have they opted for a plastic back cover on the new 3G iphone?
I hope if they are giving us the option of a black or white back cover that they have a rethink and also give us the option of a metal back cover too!!! Just a thought...

There is a simple reason that it has a plastic case.
In side the new phone there are 10 radio transmitters / receivers that all need access to the outside world via a radio transparent material. The radios are the multiple phone standards for world coverage, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. A metal case would not allow all these signals to pass through.

  • HT4990 Just curious about the app Cards

If I understand right, the cards app is by Apple and Apple or people contracted by Apple are fulfilling the orders.
If this is correct,I would like to know if Apple is ever going to offer the ability to include an iTunes gift card within a card?
I sure hope so, because I would love to be able to send a gift card and a birthday card with a simple click of my iPhone.
    Thanks, B.J.

Sounds like a great idea; unfortunately, these are user to user forums mostly dealing with technical glitches or problems - there are no Apple employees here, so the best way would be to contact Apple via this route:

  • Just curious about the supprt type of apple

Is there anyone from apple that is really monitoring this site? I saw a lot of issue but never saw from the admin of apple that answer there question or quiries? All i can see the user only reply on this thread. I hope there someone from apple who is answering our problems.
I have an issue with the sound of my iphone since i update it ios 6.1.2 and the sound just come and go. This is really getting me frustrated coz i'm not seeing any response from apple. I'm just trying to resolve this for those people that tries and they resolved. Hope they should know the consumers rights regarding unsatisfied product they have... Thanks and hope they will do their jobs also.

Well of course nobody from Apple admin will respond to questions on this site/forum.  You have only seen users replying to other users because THIS IS A USER FORUM.  This is a user to user forum and it not monitored by Apple.  This is made totally clear when you sign up for membership of the forum.
If you want help from Apple, then contact them directly - http://www.apple.com/feedback, or contact Apple support, but you will only ever get responses form other users here because it is a user to user forum.

  • HT1296 My husband and I each just got iPhones.  We also just got an iPad.  We've each created our individual Apple id's.  We don't want to share contact between our iPhones, but would like to combine contacts on the iPad.  I'm looking for suggestions.

My husband and I each just got iPhone 4S.  We also purchased the New iPad.
We've set up individual iCloud and iTunes accounts.
We each have contacts that we don't want to share between our iPhones, but would like to share on the iPad.
I'm seeking help as to how to sync these accounts properly to obtain this goal.

If you intend to "share" the iPad, that's not gonna work if you both have separate Apple ID's & iTunes accounts. Like iPhone, iPad is not presently designed to be shared like a computer. Confirm if this is your intent.

Activation Lock is a powerful feature, I agree with that, but with great power comes great responsibility. Apple needs to set up some mechanism by which the rightful owners of Activation-Locked iPhones can unlock them. All these bricked devices represent a needless environmental problem. Perfectly good gadgets will have to be recycled. Until they do that, this feature is seriously flawed.
The rightful owner CAN unlock it.  Now, did you verify that the person that sold you the iPhone was the current rightful owner when you purchased it?
Nope.  You didn't.  You purchased a used iPhone for a 'good deal', and didn't take the proper precautions to make sure you didn't get scammed.
You got scammed.  You bought a stolen iPhone.  Next time, think more carefully.  If you cannot make contact with the seller, then it was unwise to make a purchase from someone you don't know and cannot contact.
This is on you, not Apple.
Where, exactly, did you see the 'ad' for this iPhone for sale?

iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync.  Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1.  What computer and OS are you running your iTunes on?  From the iTunes download pages I see the requiorements are:
    Macintosh System Requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core processor
OS X version 10.6.8 or later
    400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store
    Windows System Requirements
PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor and 512MB of RAM
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, 32-bit editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
64-bit editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 require the iTunes 64-bit installer
    400MB of available disk space
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store

Should have I let it to get discharged in order to fully charge it ? Somebody told me I should have let it discharged and then to fully charge, but I didn't do it, my iphone is working very well, the battery too but I'm worried if the battery lifespan is gonna get worsen soon if I didn't abide by the rules and procedures of battery charging.
I had problems on my previous iPhone 4s, it died because I didn't replaced the battery with a new one because my battery never worked well and I never knew it , the battery used to overheat my iPhone and it caused to damage my processor completely to death. Who does the replacement of the iphone processor?  I need help how to maintain with the iphone battery. And also let me know if I did something wrong that I should get worried about or not ?!?!

Apple does not fix the iPhone 4S, they replace the phone. If not covered by warranty, called an out of warranty exchange. Cost is US $199. Make an appointment at any Apple store.
Be aware, Apple does not sell iPhone parts, thus there is no legitimate source for genuine parts.
