I updated to iOS7 this afternoon, before doing so I backed everything up and cleared off a bunch of photo's so I had space. Everything had been working fine.
A few months ago I'd updated my apple ID to my new email address and it had worked fine. Now, my old email is my Apple ID and it won't let me rest it (my DOB is apparently wrong and there is no email address it's now connected to). My iTunes is connected to the correct account but the iCloud ID is still the wrong one.
I've tried the 'find my friends' app and it gave me new T&C's but still, the old apple ID
I've tried the restrictions, but that didn't work either
I can't restore the phone until 'find my iPhone' is off, but I can't log in to do that
IT'S LIKE A TERRIBLE CYCLE OF STUPIDNESS

Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button and the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears. -
I am trying to update my phone to IOS 7 , But its giving me some trouble. I deleted all of my apps and all of the music off my phone , but its still telling me I don't have enough gigs . Please Help !
Try to sync after deleting a bunch of stuff, see if that clears up space.
If that doesn't work, then back up your device and then restore from that backup. That should do the trick. -

I just restored my Iphone and I am now in the set-up menu and its telling me to connect to Itunes and then its saying that there is a problem with my Iphone! This is an old phone im trying to get working it had soda spilt on it but is again working and is in better condition then my Iphone

My iTunes got deleted off a (no longer working) computer. I have lost all music & data that was on this original itunes. Is there a way I can transfer all content from my iPhone (music & photos) onto iTunes on a new computer? I want to update my iphone (3GS), but do not want to lose any music off it when syncing it. By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices in itunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book & iCal or Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, DO NOT SYNC at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go. -
I just tried updating my iPhone 4 to ios 6. It told me that I need to store my phone and update it but every time I try to update it, I get the -1 error message...can someone help me out?

Been trying for hours to update a 4s and the furthest I get is the "-1" error.
So frustrating, I guess a visit to Apple is forthcoming.

You are in Recovery Mode.
You need to connect to iTunes and restore.
Hopefully you have a backup. -

it seems like apple's activation servers have gone down under the weight of the overwhelming amount of activation requests. you will be able to activate your phone once the servers are able to catch up with the activation requests.

my phone was not working only the restore button was available so i restored it and they told me i have to update my iphone 5s as well. i waited till the end the update software was downloaded successfully but then the iphone restarted by itself and now its not working. the iphone screen is shown the picture when you first time open the phone to connect it to an itunes. i connected it by it not working, i restart everything still not working:( i need help asap please. thankyou

Yes, I have the exact same problem with my 4s! Updated to iOS 7 and can't sync. It's extremely frustrating, as music is crucial in my daily life. I was able to remove all songs from my iPhone...and now when I try to sync the 4,000 or so I've selected, it will sync maybe 11 or 12 (if it gets past the "Waiting for changes to be applied" screen), and then just completely stop. i downloaded ios5.1.1 to my phone, but i dont like the new software. The face detection used in the camera jut isnt for me. So, i would like to know if there was a way to undo the update and go back to ios 5.0.1. My iphone is not jailbroken or unlocked.

I am trying to update an app, but its asking to connect to a wifi or downlown it in itunes. There are several apps that need updating, I can't do either or, or maybe I just don't know how to do it.It's saying that the app is over 50MB. But it's not telling me which app. Help!!!!!!!!!
Well, I just purchased Linksys wifi and hooked it up. It's running fine. When I go to my IPhone settings to see is I'm connected to a wifi, it shows that I am not connected. When I hit my wifi to see or to connect, it takes me to the wifi networks and it's showing my secured wifi as being locked and my guess wifi as not locked. How do I sign in to my own wifi network.
