I've lost several songs I purchased some time ago. I recently removed and re-added apple Itunes software

I've  recently removed then re-ran Apple iTunes exec software. Everything loaded and pproblems seem to have gone away. Several songs I gought from apple won't play either on iTunes or WAV (my prefered player. i Tunes says files can't be found. How can I get them back?
