My first iphone order on 12-Oct
8-Nov received but come with scratch
Then i Return to Apple for another
The return process didn't update until i call to hk apple hotline and complain on 22-
As Hong Kong Apple Store temporarily did not have iphone 4 for sell but suddenly opened on 19.
The problem is, I made the return on 8-Nov
but my friendsss made order on 19, they can get their iphone 4 32gb earlier then me and without any problem,
then on 27-Nov I FINALLY get the return iphone back which is EVEN WORSE!!

The Clip is showing the return Iphone 4 32 GB can’t play mp3 correct probably and the sound is like it’s going to have explosion!! And then I made a call to Hong Kong Weather hotline but have the same problem ! this 32 GB can't even make a CALL!!!
In the end , l would like to request you could return a iphone 4 32gb to me without any problem and with the highest priority in HK!

are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

How can I get my Iphone to work with UCONNECT?

How can I get my iphone 4s running IO7.0.4 to work with my UCONNECT system in my 2013 Chrysler?
I have talked to UCONNECT and the tekkie said "you will have to live with it because your phone is too advanced for our software and we do not have an update planned." I prress the "connect" button on the steering wheel and tell the phone to call a person on mobile. I says it cannot call "somebody else" as they do not have a mobile number. But the person it says is not the person I said.
It is like it is not reading the phonebook correctly.

Everything worked perfectly until I updated to IO 7. Then it went out the window. I cnnot be the only person with this problem and hopefully someone out there has overcome this problem. If you just stop at the first NO we would still be flipping our phones open.

not sure if this is a permanent fix but, ever since upgrading to itunes 11.3.1, my iphone5 seems to finish syncing on its own, now. didn't seem to be a problem anymore. at least after doing only one sync, since the upgrade.
(stiil have a blank "purchased" page at itunes store, though).

Evere one is doing the upgrade and find out they are haveing a lot of problems. Then do a clean install from restoring. Your iPad or iPhone.

Can you get an iPhone without signing with a carrier

Sad but true! I actually want a mocked up iPod touch, so I thought that I would get the iPhone 4S because of the camera and the flash as that is really my main interest in the product. As we know the iPod touch has a horrible camera and no flash. So can a person just get the iPhone and use it with WiFi only and bypass the phone calling and carrier contracts.

The more I research the more I'm finding that to be true. You know having a contract and service isn't that big of deal but it's the credit part that is a ***** for me. I STILL can't get Identity Safe to work with Firefox

ARGGGG. Norton Toolbar does not show up in Firefox. Every time there is a Firefox update I have to go through something like this. Running the updates on Firefox and Norton Security Suite did not solve the issue (as it usually does). Identity Safe works in IE.
I have Norton Security Suite from Comcast ver. 5.2.2.3 and Firefox 17.0.1

I was syncing my iPhone with my MacBook Pro, but I formatted the operating system and installed a new iTunes on my laptop. When I connect my iPhone to the laptop, iTunes wants to erase everything in order to start syncing. I want to start syncing with my laptop, not remove all the content already on my phone. I don't want to loose my apps, my contacts, bascially everything on my iPhone.

If anyone can help me with a simple to understand way to get my music off of my iphoe onto my computer that would be great. My music is over but it will not allowme to play it b because I can't seem to authorize. My old computer has a cup of coffee on the inside of the laptop so that is toast. )

I am a realtor and have used Outlook for years, but am unable to get my iphone to synch with Outlook. Does anyone have a solution? I have been to the Apple store and have had more than one person working on it, to no avail.

Not sure what you've already tried, but sometimes you have to uninstall iTunes and all it's components as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925, then reinstall iTunes. (This would be necessary if the Outlook plugin is missing or corrupt.) You won't loose your iTunes library or media by doing this.

I can't get my iPhone to work with projector using keynote.

I've tried using my iPad with the same projector and same presentation. It works. But, my notes (massive amount of notes, not conducive to keynotes presenter notes) need to be on my iPad, so I would love to setup my iPad as the remote, and the iPhone as the presentation host via a VGA into the projector. So far no luck. Any suggestions?

FOUND THE ANSWER!!
Apparently when you plug your iPhone in to your computer, Windows will "sometimes" install the drivers as a camera, putting them in the wrong place. This is why it will pop up in Windows so you can take photos off, but iTunes can't see it. SO, what you have to do is move the driver file (USBAAPL.SYS) to the correct location. Follow the directions I found below & your iTunes should be fixed (worked for me):
What works is to just force the drivers on what windows thinks is a camera, i.e. to ‘update’ the device to use the correct driver. There are some hints on how to do this already listed on this forum, but I’ll try to give some more detailed information:
1. First off you need to have iTunes installed and the ipod touch plugged in
and recognized as ‘something’ e.g. digital camera (it shouldn’t really
matter what it’s recognized as, but it needs to be found by windows).
2. Search for usbaapl in the C:\WINDOWS system folder:
o open windows explorer (e.g. Right-click Start and then click ‘explore’)
o right-click the WINDOWS folder and select ‘Search’).
o type in usbaapl and hit Search – try to ignore the dog!
You should find the driver info in a sub folder of
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE e.g. C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B
Remember that location (either leave the search box open or copy the folder
name into note pad – you’ll need it later)
If you don’t find usbaapl.sys, usbaapl.inf etc. then your drivers have not
been installed with the iTunes install and you’ll have to reinstall iTunes.
3. Locate the ipod-camera device:
o Open the device manager, e.g. using Start > Control Panel >
Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager
o Look for a device called ‘ipod’ - if your ipod shows up as
‘digital camera’ it will be under something like ‘imaging devices’.
4. Update the driver:
o Right click the ‘ipod-camera’ in device manager and click on
‘Update Driver’ – the Hardware Update Wizard will open.
o Check the ‘Install from a list or specific location’ then click ‘Next’
o Check ‘Search for the best driver in these locations’. Un-check
‘Search removable media’ and check ‘Include this location in the search’.
In the text box below type (or better copy and paste) the folder
containing the ipod driver information found in step 1 (in the example
above it was C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B),
then click Next.
You should now see something like ‘Apple ipod device driver’ or so. Continue
installing that device. Once the driver has been installed the ipod will come
to life and iTunes (if you have it open) will show it.
If for some reason this doesn't work, try downloading the file here:

It's still not working. I went through every step and still can't get my Iphone to show up on my itunes.
Though I did find that the USB driver is not listed under any devices...
