I've put numerous gift cards on my account. How do I check my balance?

I've put gift cards on my mobile iTunes account and every times buy something it still asks for my credit card info. How can I check if my balance to make sure iTunes is using my positive gift card balance and not charging my card?

Are you using Family Sharing? If so, then the iTunes credit can only be used by the Apple ID of the organizer. All other members' purchases will be charged against the credit card on file for the organizer.

I redeemed my gift card on one computer, how do I transfer the balance to another?

I redeemed my gift card on one computer, but when I try to by music on my other computer, it asks for my credit card information. So I am guessing I need to some how transfer the balance on the card to the other computer? I assumed it would be there on both since it is the same account on both?
Anyone have ideas?

A couple of questions for you...
Did you get an email confirming the card had been successfully redeemed? Is it possible you've changed iTunes store since you redeemed the gift card? The gift card can only be used within the iTunes store it was purchased / redeemed. If you're still in the same store, then try logging out of your iTunes account and logging back in. That should reset the balance.
The balance should be visible when you're browsing within the store (on the bar towards the top of the screen on the right hand side - next to the ID you've logged in to the store with.
If you're still not happy with the results, the iTunes Store Billing support staff will be able to give you a definitive answer on your account balance. I don't know where you are, so here are links to the US and UK support pages:

I forgot my security question answers. It has never asked me what they were, and now they are and I have already put a gift card on my account. I have used all my tries, but I need me some music!lol

I have forgotten my security question answers. I have never had to use them while purchasing, but I tried today, and they asked for them. So I now can't buy my music which really *****, because I am sitting in the hospital waiting room wanting to get some music, and I can't now. Is there a way I can get around that? Cause I seriously can't remember my answers. I don't even remember setting them up when I set up my account a couple years ago.

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

Yes, you can download iTunes for Windows using Parallels. If planning on making purchases here and/or authorizing already purchased tracks (from your Mac iTunes library), you are permitted to authorize five (5) computers as per iTunes Store terms of use, regardless of computing platform. No need to create a separate new iTunes Store account.
However, judging from what you would like to do, your best bet would be to convert the WMAs to AAC/MP3 in iTunes-Windows (iTunes-Mac cannot import WMA files), and drag the files from the Parallels window to your desktop to add to the iTunes-Mac library. (as the iPod itself is currently linked to your iTunes-Mac library)

If you've just redeemed it and not spent any of it then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can move it the other account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

you don't add the credit card to the apple tv you add it to your iTunes account that can be done on your computer or iOS device it's under iTunes on both computer and iOS devices
