I have recieved a message on my iphone 4s that it needs to be activated. I have tried doing this multiple times with strong wifi connection and it is not working. I connected it to iTunes as my phone suggested and i still could not activate it. This is quite frustrating as this does not allow me to use my cell phone for anything and I need it for many things.
It would have saved to your camera roll. Connect the phone to your Air via a USB cable and then run Image Capture which is located either in your Utilities folder or Other folder, depending on what version of Mac OS X your are running. You will then see all the photos and videos stored on your iPhone and can then download them.

I'm not very familiar with Pages, but I did just read on Apple's website that it does import .docx files. What happens when you open Pages, and then choose File > Open to open the .docx files?

i think a lot of people have the same issue with apple iphone so if someone can help me to fix it.
I'd like to confirm that I am suffering from the same issue with my 3 week-old iPhone 4S. I, too, need to turn flight mode on and off in order to convince my phone to switch back from a Wifi connection to 3G. So far I have tried the following:
- Received a new SIM from O2 here in Germany
- Restored my phone from backup
- Restored my phone as a new device
- Installed iOS 5.0.1
- Received a replacement phone from Apple
None of the above have rectified the situation, nor made any difference at all. Neither the Apple support hotline nor the Genius Bar employee had any idea what could be causing the problem. The only thing I have not yet tried is a SIM from another provider. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the iOS in combination with the setup of certain providers.

You have a bit of a mess on your hands, but you can try doing this:
Download the iOS 6 update (ipsw) file to your computer from here: http://osxdaily.com/2012/09/19/ios-6-ipsw-direct-download-links/, being careful to download the version for your model.
Put your phone in DFU mode, as explained here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2648467?threadID=2648467&tstart=0
Restore you phone in iTunes using the ipsw file you downloaded in step 1, as described here: http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/23/how-to-use-ipsw-files/.
If you get a 1014, 1013, 1638 or 3194 error, you access to Apple's servers is being blocked by your Hosts file. You'll have to edit your Hosts file to remove this block, then try restoring again. You can use Google to find out how to do this. -
The update has completely screwed up my 4.. No more iMessage over WiFi, I have to hold my phone in the air sometimes to catch a signal and I never had to do that before, and after the update I can't send any pictures, over iMessage or 3G .. And with the weak signal I only get my notifications from apps when it wants to.. I'll be connected to wifi and using it, but won't get any notifications, or when I do.. Its whenever the signal has registered or my phone has authenticated it, I've had these problems since last year with no fix, I've reset my router countless times, I'm on Verizon and NEVER had wifi or imessage issues before ios6 .
Make Genius Appointment and take your iPhone to the Apple Store. Only Genius can make these determinations. The broken screen voids your Warranty. The Genius could overlook this, you never know. Take your iPhone to Apple Store, hope for the best, but be prepared to pay $149 for Out of Warranty Replacement iPhone 4. A good price for replacement of an iPhone 4 with broken screen and WiFi problems.

icloud Email does not work. When running Connection doctor it indicates I must check or uncheck SSL. This has not fixed the problem
iCloud email addresses (@mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com) require SSL. Is your address an iCloud address or someone else?

My iPhone says that it needs to cool down and it's really hot
IIt's really hot I just woke up and the phone was on the table... I'm so confused it was not been used!
Unplug the phone and let it cool down before you do anything else. Put it out of bright sunlight. If it cools down and lets you turn it on again, it may be alright. However, I would monitor it carefully when charging it. If it won't turn on or heats up, make an appointment at your local Apple Store. Be sure to take both the phone and the charger with you.

Upgraded from iphone to a Samsung and now i am unable to receive text messages from other iphone users unless they disable imessage .
Being my original number was on an iphone is why this is happening .
Please help. Almost everyone has an iphoneYou should have turned iMessage off before disabling the phone. Do you still have the phone so you can turn iMessage off? If not, you will need to go to Apple support on their website and delete the product from your profile.

Make sure that MMS is turned on in Settings. Sometimes that can get turned off during an update, if you recently did that. Next try would be a reset. If that doesn't help, then contact the carrier, as SMS and MMS are carrier specific functions.

Setting "From - To" time in Ical
The "From - To" function used to work just fine for me, but since I upgraded to 0.95, I cannot set either the "From" or "To" time to any half hour increments. For instance, a new event defaults to "00". I can set the time for say, 11, but not 11:30.
