I can't edit or delete the appointment from my iPhone. So now, I have a number of items on my schedule (little league games) that aren't correct and that I can't get rid of. If I go to the calendar item on my iPhone and select "Event Details", the edit button isn't there.
What gives?
Throw it away, get a new, fully functional phone from a proper source.

Why won't emailed appointment updates change in my iPhone calendar??
Outlook calendar updates that are emailed to me from the appointment creator are not updating in my iPhone calendar. They are staying at the original date and time and I'm even unable to modify any appointments that I'm invited to. We use Outlook Web Access.

I have the same problem, alerts not coming across on shared calenders when the events sync properly. My wife & I have iPhones with latest IOS 5.x.x. I privately shared my iCloud calendar. She's subcribed to it and it syncs perfectly. Whenever I create a new event, it shows up on her phone within seconds. Same thing when she creates an event on the shared calendar.
Problem is, the alerts don't make it across. I typically set alerts of 30 minutes and 2-days before the event. My phone's default alert of 1-day before also goes off for 3 alerts per event. However, on her phone, no alerts goes off. Editing the event on her phone shows both alerts as none. Even her default phone alert setting of 1-day before doesn't go off either.
Anyone know how to make alerts sync across along with the shared calendar events?

I have paid for itunes match and have now lost all my music off my iphone except what I paid for from itunes, 964 songs gone into the cloud. Can anyone help please?
Enabling iTunes Match does not delete music from your computer. Why do you think it is now not in the iTunes library if it was before? If all of your music was in the iTunes library then it is also now in the cloud if iTunes has completed it's scan and all the music meets the match requirements. Enable the iCloud Status column in the iTunes browser by switching to Song view and pulling down View > View Options. Select iCloud Status then close the small window. Sort on the new column. Your music should be listed as "purchased," "matched" and "uploaded." Some tracks may be "ineligible." Post back and let us know.

Question for you gods - what does it mean. is it important? my computer connects to my server works. I downloaded an album and one single that I purchased just fine and then purchases another single and I keep getting an error message that says, You don't have enough access priviledges. What can I do to get this song? I am just going to have to ask for a refund and forget it?
What version of iPhoto do you have installed? Is if one of the versions shown as not compatible in this screenshot?
If it is then go to the App Store and download iPhoto 9.5. It will be free if you have an iPhoto 9 or later verson currently.

I don't understand why the new address book is not backwards compatible with the data from former OS X versions.
In 10.8. preview was still able to read the files although it was already impossible to import them into the address book. But Why? -
Invitations from non-iCal users
I am not able to accept or decline invitations that I receive from external / non-iCal users. They are automatically added to my calendar.
In the past, I was able to accept or decline and also able to change the calendar in iCal.
I am not sure what has triggered this change. Is this due to an updated version of iCal or did I change a specific setting by accident?Not sure if this is the same problem, but ics files in emails to me also did not give me the option to accept. What worked for me was, I needed to add the email addresses the ics files contained into my 'me' address book record. 'me' is your system user record in the Address Book.

My iPhone 5 is getting extremely hot, especially when it is charging! It was gets hot when my battery starts getting low. My batteries is also not lasting nearly as long as it used to! It last at max 4 hours if I'm lucky! I don't low what I should do!
Hello landry morgan. Just shared. Turn your brightness to auto. If you just buy this phone. Let the battery totally drain couple of time and fully charge again. It will became great after that.my phone take 2 days to totally drain.awsome. If your location to far away from network transmitter it will became little bit hot at the battery.if you very near to wifi you will feel your iphone5 it surf like a ferrari + no heat at all. P/n; dont look at pecentage of your battery. Just take note how many hour until its totally drain.
