I've sent a campaign and I cannot see any statistics recorded against it. Why is this so?

An email campaign may take up to 24 hours to reach all of the recipients int he list. For you to have a better understanding of how email campaign works, there are a few reasons why you are not able to see any statistics for the completed campaigns.
First of all, make sure you have selected a HTML version of the campaign and not Text version. In order for the system to register an opening, the email client needs to download the images from the email or the user needs to click on a link and go to your website. The tracking code is attached to the images. If your newsletter does not have an image in it, the system will insert image into it for the recording purposes. That image download is then recorded by the system. The image download is what causes the reports to reflect that the email campaign message was opened. The problem is that the email clients don't do this by default to prevent spammers form identifying the legitimate email addresses. In Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird, Mail and most other clients, you often have to specifically click on "Download Images" (or something along those lines) link. So, for all those customers that end up viewing the newsletter without downloading the image, the system will have no way of recording the opening.

You have to connect the iPad to your computer to update.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

    What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file  I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located.  Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed).  Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.

    As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc.

    Connect your device to iTunes and in the the window were all the apps are greyed out make sure the 'Sync Apps' checkbox (top left corner) is selected.

    Hey Team,
    Wondering if you can help me out here, I am working on a Flash file that has lots of FLV player components all in different movieclips, all reading external flv files.  (This is all I can think of that I have been adding that has led to this worsening problem) I have noticed recently that the stage is becoming white more and more frequently and the movieclips on the stage are becoming invisible (yes i have not turned the eye off on the timeline) when you click on the white space you can go inside these invisible movieclips, you just cannot see what is there.  I have to close and restart Flash to see again, which I am having to do more and more often, I also notice that my .swf or projector file has become unstable when I export it and it will fail or close without warning or error.

  • I bought Quick Time Pro to help edit videos and now cannot SEE any video through my Quick Time Player

    I can hear the audio for each video BUT the window for SEEING the videos does not open- it remains "closed" on top of the start/stop/pause controller.  HOW can I fix this so I can also see the videos I want to edit?
    It worked fine the day I uploaded and began using Quick Time Pro, but has not since that day....

    If it is still slow after removing Symantec, you may need a RAM upgrade. Yosemite can run very poorly on older machines with only 4 GB RAM.

    Some downloaded apps are oriented sideways, because my iPad is sideways in my Zaggfolio keyboard case, and I cannot find any way to rotate the apps so they are vertical when my iPad is horizontal in my Zaggfolio case.  I sent a question to the app developers and one of them responded that I had asked a good question and they would consider it on their next update.  Does that mean that I have to remove my iPad from my keyoard case every time I want to use those apps.  This issue is only happening on some apps.  Also, my iPad is not in the locked position.

    You can lock the rotation with the little slider switch located under your volume toggle. however locking rotation is an 'all or nothing' proposition. you can't choose the portrait or landscape in a 'per app' basis.
    In addition there are some apps that don't rotate.
    When I use an app that wants to be in portrait with my zagg folio I just turn it and hold it that way. the lack of ease of rotation is the oen major downfall of that case.

    Did you select "Sign In with an Apple ID" as opposed to "Create a free Apple ID" when setting it up?

    Not necessarily. I'd suggest downloading and installing the "combo" update. That's a combination (thus the clever name) of all the updates to Leopard since it was first released, so installing it should fix anything that's gone wrong since then, such as with one of the normal "point" updates.     The iPad 1 can be updated to iOS 5.1.1. You can see what level you are running in Settings > General > About > Version.
    If you are not at iOS 5.1.1 and if you are have iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
    To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

    If you are on level 5 but not at 5.1.1 you can update to 5.1.1 using Settings > General > Software Update.
    There are still many Apps which will run on iOS 5. Also, some developers have older levels still available for the iPad 1.

    If the albums do appear in the Music app, hold down on the album icons and the X to delete will pop up on the icons. Tap the X to delete the albums.
    You don't see a anything in iCloud, you see your previous purchases in the purchased tab of the store that you bought the content in. So you find your music purchases in the purchased tab of the iTunes app on your iPad. Tap on Purchased and look for the albums in the Not on this iPad section - assuming that you are able to delete the albums from the device.

    i figured out a solution if anyone is having the same problem
    go to preferences in mail
    pick the mail account that is not sending
    if your outgoing mail server states it offline as mine did
    click the dropdown  and than click edit smtp 
    a window will come up that says account information and advanced
    click advanced
    renter your password and ok
    restart your computer - when it restarts it will send emails
