I always do my Rentals with the itunes program on the computer.
Make rental from itunes store. It will show in movies under library, DO NOT click to play it. Plug in the device to the computer. Click the name of the device on left. Click on movies. There is an option to copy to the device. Sync. obviously you still need space on ipad to put rental but you can have it take computers hard drive space until you need it.

I have had the same problem with firefox on facebook. It has happened for the last couple weeks. I can receive gifts under requests and every game I try crashes. I can usually read my homepage. this is getting really bad. I have cleared caches,downloaded what I am told to download to update, and cleared history and cookies and still happens , and have been told to get rid of firefox. what is the problem? and when I sent reports , nothing. and sent emails to all the games and told them and asked for help and never get responses. should I through the computer out the window, or delete you? HT1414 i give up. ive tried to update my wife's iphone. each time after an hour or two, i get a message that it is cancelling the backup. it wont update.

well, i finally made it thru the maze that is apple security, matched all the password rules, and never using the same password twice only to be shut down again when i tried to update my wife's iphone. after two hours i get a message that says its cancelling the back up. No other messages or errors or anything. Just cancelling the backup. This has happened consistently 5 times.

If it's less than 3GB's you need to delete apps, photos, etc to free up storage space in order to udpate to iOS 7.

When I try to sign in to the App store, I get a message that says "An unknown error has occurred" and I cannot sign in.

When I try and sign in to the App Store, I get an error message that says "An unknown error has occurred". The Apple Store told me to contact Apple Care which I did. They determined it was not an issue with my computer and thought it was an issue with the App Store.
They had me contact the iTunes Store instead of the App Store because they said that was the technician I needed. The iTunes Store rep told me there was no issue with my iTunes account and told me "The issue could have been temporary, related to your internet connection, your local network, or your computer itself."
This issue has been happening for a few months and as I said above, Apple Care said it was not my computer.
Any suggestions?

hopefully they can help. You may also be interested to know that for some reason it is just not available to a lot of people at the same time. Appears to be an issue of more users than their servers can handle. Has happened periodically for at least 6 months that I know of but apparently users are able to use within several days if there are no other issues with the users device.

Minecraft says that I need a new Java plug in but I can't find one from Support. I thought Mountain Lion had the latest java.

I have just installed Mountain Lion and now cannot access Minecraft. It is telling me I need another Java plug in, but I thought that Mountain Lion includes the latest java. Has anyone else experienced this and do they know how to get the plug in?

In any event, go to utilities>java preferences. Open that and follow the prompts, if any.

I am getting a message that says my Apple ID has been disabled. Not disabled for security reasons, just plain disabled. I changed my password and still nothing! I was told I had to pay them $29.00 for extended technical support as my warranty is up.

This is so frustrating. Why should I pay $29.00 for a problem I
didn't create. I think they flip a switch and disable to distort money!

They're not charging you to renable your Apple ID. They're charging you for phone support, which they'd do regardless of the question. Go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They may be able to help you without you having to pay for phone support.
