I've tried to update Itunes but it will not start. I don't get any error messages, it just doesn't start updating.

I've tried updating itunes but nothing happens. It always asks me if I want to download the newest version but when I click download it does nothing. Then when I open itunes again it asks me the same question.

Try downloading an installer for the new version directly from the Apple Website, debra:

I am trying to upload photos to a library but only some of them uploaded. I even tried to rename and upload to a different library but I can't get it to work. I don't get any error message it just doesn't respond.

I have been uploading pictures for a while but ran into a problem last night that I cannot resolve. I was uploading files starting in Revel and selecting the "add photos to album". I selected 144 photos but only 88 uploaded. I checked and confirmed that the missing ones are not in the library. I tried to re-save and reinitiate the upload on Revel. I then tried to save the files with a new name and upload to a new library. Neither option worked. I do not get any error message. it just fails to upload.
Is there a system problem? Any suggestions?

Why won't iTunes download onto my windows 8 or even windows 8.1? I don't get any error messages, it just simply does absolutely nothing.

No error mmessages, no nothing. I simply get nothing. And I even downloaded the new windows 8.1 and even tried installing the latets super pack or whatever. WHen I hit download itunes, it goes to the Thanks for downloading itunes page, but nothing happens. It acts like it doesnt even try to open any files.... No apple files, nothing.... NOTHING HAPPENS. ***

Can't on to iTunes Store. But don't get any error messages

Since upgrading to 10.6 I can't log on to the store. I don't get any error messages, it just doesn't log on.
Password etc is right and I can access the internet Ok just not iTunes.
I have tried downgrading to a previous version of iTunes but then can't use iTunes as I get a message saying the "library is not accesible because it was created
in a newer version of iTunes"
I have tried disabling Firewalls and AVG Antivirus without any success.
Anyone got any ideas?

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I tried downloading again and although it says it is complete, when I try to open iTunes I get an error message saying that the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing. I am having problems opening the iTunes music store. I have Windows XP. When i click on the desktop iTunes icon, i get this error message.
"iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
When actually, it was never opened.
I have downloaded iTunes in the past and it has worked fine. Is this because of the overload of iPods today on Christmas? Is the music store a universal thing? Could it just be overloaded? i have no clue. I'm new to this iPod thing

Itunes won't start up. Don't get any error messages.

I just installed the CD for Ipod/Itunes that came with my nano. When I plug the nano into the usb port, the "do not disconnect" display comes up and Itunes attempts to start. The Itunes user agreement pops up on the screen for a brief second, then goes away without initiating the program. If I double click on the Itunes icon, the same thing happens and I cannot get the program to open. When I try to open quick time, I get the same results.
My wife has used Itunes on and off for the past year on her RIO mp3 with no problems. I wonder if the napster and RIO manager programs are creating some sort of conflict. I do not want to delete them since my wife may need them for her RIO player.
I am very aggrevated that I cannot talk to a human to resolve this issue. I have called the "1 800" number several times and was told by a computer to "try back later". I wasn't even given the option to hold for a tech.

I have a 3rd generation ipod that will not connect. I keep getting an error message that says "USB Device Not Recognized". I have tried 3 seperate cables and none of them are working. Please help!

It keeps telling me that one of the USB devices for this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. I have tried all of the ports and still am not having any luck. I have purchased 3 brand new cables and none of them are working. I have tried to update the driver but it says I am using the most up to date. I have tried to reset the Ipod by holding the center button and menu button until the apple appears. I am not sure what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have you tried uninstalling the driver for your iPod from within Device Manager? After uninstalling it, go ahead and unplug your iPod and plug it back in. Doing so should cause your system to locate the proper driver for it.

I have downloaded cds on to itunes but it will not allow me to add them to my ipod when it syncs. Any ideas on how to help?

I have an ipod touch and have had it for about six months. I have not had any trouble with it but now it will not let me sync- I have downloaded cds to itunes but when I sync my ipod it does not put the cds on my ipod.
