I've upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 6, and now I can't download apps! What's the matter? When I try to install, it starts, and then I need to write in 3 secret questions to protect my Apple-ID. But then it doesn't work and the app quits downloading. Why?
⬆It says it all up there⬆
1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
•From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
•Tap and hold on the app.
•When it starts to jiggle, tap the red in the top corner to close it;
***Please close all open apps on your phone***
2) Tap Settings.
3) Tap Safari.
4) Tap Clear History.
5) Tap the Clear History button.
6) Tap Clear Cookies and Data.
7) Tap the Clear Cookies and Data button

I have had to restore my Ipod Touch and now I can't connect to anything on it. When it asks for my Apple ID it comes up with an error message and says that it can't connect to the server. I have checked my WiFi connection and its connected.
Hi there,
I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps found in the article below.

Is my inability to print from my Intel iMac with OS 10.6.8 related to a driver problem? I checked the Epson website for up-to-date drivers, but they appear to only have print drivers good through OS 10.5x. I did the Apple software update yesterday so everything is up-to-date. Is there no support for the Epson RX545 under OS 10.6x?
When you upgrade from a previous OS there is always a chance that you will bring some setting that is not compatible with the new OS. This can be the driver as noondaywitch suggests but it can also be the core printing system. In the case of the latter, it is a good idea to reset the printing system when a core error occurs. Note that the reset sets the printing system back to default and removes your currently installed printer and scanner queues. But it does not remove the supporting drivers, so you only need to install the driver again.
How to Reset the Printing System
1. Open System Preferences > Print & Scan/Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse
4. Click the "Reset printing system ..." popup
5. Restart your Mac
Just one additional thing to note. In checking the supported printer list for 10.6 from Apple, your RC545 is not listed so running the Software Update will not provide you with a driver for this printer. So if Epson does not have a driver for 10.6, and it appears that Apple does not provide one, then what you have already from the previous installation is it. And if this doesn't work, then you may have to look at either an alternate driver or getting another printer. But let's wait and see what happens after the reset. -

Upgraded to 1.1.4 tonight and now I can't move icons.
I finally upgraded my firmware to 1.1.4 tonight and now I can't move my icons. No matter how long I press an icon, they never start to wiggle.
I've restored the iPod completely and that didn't help. I reset the homepage settings, no luck.
Don't know what else to try.
Any ideas?Just found it myself and was going to admit that I was wrong and you was right
I still can't believe that an Apple employe has sent it out - it might just has slipped. But the subject of so many questions in this forum should either be adressed official or not at all. His Steveness is getting sloppy -
After upgrading my ipad to ios 7, text messaging doesn't work
after upgrading my ipad to ios 7, text messaging doesn't work
Assuming you have Messages on. You can try two things the first is a simpler than the second. Go to this site https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, click on Manage your ID, log in and check if your Apple ID for your Messages and FaceTime apps is the the same as your primary email address. When I went there I saw a message that I should make them the same, for some reason they weren't, after I clicked on the submit to make them the same I haven't had any problem with either. Previously I kept getting signed out of both and had to constantly reenter my password to get them working. Quite a few times they wouldn't connect at all.
The second thing you can try is in Settings - General - Reset, and reset all settings. You will then have to reenter a lot of information such as account user names and passwords but this seemed to correct things for a lot of people. The first option is easier and worked for me so I'd give it a try. -
I upgraded my iPad to iOS 5.1. Afterwards, my Youtube favorites are missing. These are favorites saved on the iPad and not linked to a Youtube account.
I have tried restarting the iPad several times to no avail. The favorites seems to be still on the iPad, since when I try to add a video that used to be on the list, that option is greyed out indicating that the computer knows that this is a favorite video. The problems reported here occurred right after updating to iOS according to the users as TD mentioned.
It's a compatibility problem between iPhoto and iOS6 that the only workaround would be to possibly batch change the date of the photos in iPhoto . Therefore we'll have to wait for it to be fixed with either an iPhoto update or an iOS update, which ever Apple feels is the proper item to to be changed.
If they update iPhoto first (which is probably what they'll do) it'll be called an iPhoto problem.

I have just upgraded my Ipad to IOS 5 and I am unable to use my applications
I have just upgraded my Ipad to IOS 5 and I am unable to use my applications.
The applications appear in the screen, but when I tap on any one of them, they do not open.
Can some one tell me what to do to be able to use my application again?Sorry, I'm reposting this because of spelling error in my previous post (I must turn that 'auto-correct' off).
Since I posted my questions, the only thing I figured out was to turn the 'iCloud' in the Settings on and now the plus sign is on and all my previous appointments appeared. While this is a solution, what if I don't want to use iCloud? But I'm happy for now that my Calendar works. -
I want to upgrade my iPad to IOS 5. I understand the upgrade erases media content. If so, do I need to manually back it up? Where/how do I back it up? How do I restore it? content
You can only update to the latest iOS which currently is iOS 5.1.1.
Connect your iPad to your computer and follow the prompts. If iTunes is not the latest version then you will be prompted to update that first. The same will then apply to your iPad. It will automatically do a backup unless you tell it otherwise and y will be prompted to restore from that backp in the latter part of the process.

Can't downgrade on iOS ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings -
I am upgrading my iPad to iOS 7 but the progress bar is at 1/4 position for two hours and not moving forward. Is there any problem with it? What should I do? Thanks.
This is a concern amoung many corporate users. It's going to take somekind of policy change with apple.

I upgraded my ipad to ios 7 and now it's asking for a passcode. Have no idea what to enter because I never needed a passcode. Connected it to iTunes on my mac but still doesn't work
Hi Lmprettyman,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This article has more information on passcode lock and how to return your iPod to working order:
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer
If you see one of following alerts, you need to erase the device:
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
"You haven't chosen to have [device] trust this computer"
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.
All the best,
Jeremy -
