ICloud says it's sending an e-mail to verify my account but no e-mail arrives, this is very annoying.

I have just downloaded the new OS X Mountain Lion onto my macbook and as I have an iphone and ipad I wanted to setup the iCloud, I have done everything I'm supposed to in the instructions and then I get as far as a screen saying that apple will send me an e-mail to verify my account, but the e-mail never arrives, I've checked the junk mail and I still can't sort it, it's getting a bit annoying now, it's took the best part of the day to put the Lion on and now I feel like it's all been a waste of time Sorry for the rant I just hope someone out there has the answer. - To change ID go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign in with the one you want. If you iPod has iOS 5 you may have to also go to Settings>iCloud and sign into the second account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

Are you currently in the country where your iTunes account is based ? You won't be charged for downloading free apps (some free apps do then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features, though you can turn that off via Settings > General > Restritions > In-App Purchases 'off'), but if you add or change the credit card details on your account then you are likely to receive a temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - that should disappear within a few days or so.

iCloud doesn't give you more storage on your device, it only gives you more storage in iCloud to sync data, store your backups, etc. If you're running out of space on your iPad you'll have to delete some data off your iPad to free it up, such as syncing some of your music or other media off your iPad.
You can check how much free space is available on your iPad by going to Settings>General>Usage and looking at the Available number at the top.

Please go to Settings>Itunes and App Store and log out of your Apple id and right back in again. See if this doesn't resolve this issue.

I would recommend you use a program called senuti that allows you to copy your songs over to a new computer from an iPod. Unfortunatlly you have to pay for the full version but it allows you to have 1000 free song capacity of copying over and a movie counts as the capacity of 1 song.
