I wander where to set import job for transports

I wander where to set import job for transports to be imported automatically. On transport domain controller I can not manage other job than the one for the system itself.
On the system which is not transport domain controler I have only display function

are you asking for 'automatic import' in QAS/PRD ?
When you go to STMS import queue in a particular system like QAS, there you can see a button 'import all'. This will enable to you schedule automatic import periodically in intervals for eg. 15 min or whatever you want.
just click on import all and it will ask for inputs and schedule
OR, do you want to confirm for RDDIMPDP job ?
Run report RDDNEWPP to schedule RDDIMPDP

Most of the message Flags work only for IMAP mailboxes. POP3 supports only the DELETED flag. It must be understood that Javamail is a framework which provides all the features available in a standard mailing system. But whether or not a particular feature works is a functionality of the particular implementation being used.
Thus for example POP3 cannot differentiate read from unread messages in a mailbox though Javamail provides that feature.

Unable to set import lock for software component version

While importing object (.tpz) file into integration repository we are getting error message as below.

Unable to set import lock for software component version <XXXX>-COMMON,1.0 of <XXX>.com because user <userid> is currently importing data to this component
try again once user <userid> has finished importing data

We checked with the user and found he is not doing any activity in fact he logged off. the developer wants to import and how do we terminate this import attement and proceed with new importing of the same object
We wan't to avoid cache refresh as this is production environment
We already performed clear SLD data cache with in the IR not for whole.

Problem with XI objects transport - Unable to set import lock for SWC

Hi guys!
I try to import objects from dev to qa but I'm getting following error:
Unable to set import lock for software component version SWC_xxxx , 1.0 of company.com because user OSALUDEW is currently importing data to this component Try again once user OSALUDEW has finished importing data
The problem is, I'm not importing anything.. Well, I try to import, but something is hanging there from previous time.
How to solve this issue?

I closed all the applications - repositories (dev, qa), directories (dev, qa), then started qa repository again and imported the objects successfully

APP program runs- on payment method please make setting for your payment method "M" in FBZP.
Like Payment method for Country (OBVCU) & company code (OBVU)
Make sure that you have assigned payment method (M) bank ranking & subaccount.
Assign the payment method to vendor master data & invoice.
After that check the invoice comes under your payment dates
Hope after that if you run F110 picks up the open items

Setting an job for closing settled process orders

I have a requirement to set a background job to close the process orders that have been settled and have not been modified with a certain time frame.
Are there any standard programs which support this requirement of influencing the selection parameters like settled + eligibility time frame? How to identify the settled process orders in SAP?

Hi,
After the settlement, no particular status is updated in the process order. Hence not possible to select only those orders to close which have been settled.
Workaround I can think of is, in Tcode COHVPI, select those orders which have status TECO and VCAL, my argument would be orders which have status TECO and Variance calculated would be settled most of the time (Say 99%).
Hence set the parameters for background job as status TECO and VCAL. Then go to mass processing tab, select the function COMPLETE, select BACKGROUND in execute function option and create a variant and save.
In SM36 create job, enter the program PPIO_ENTRY, enter the variant created in the earlier step, schedule the date and time.

Find Import user for transports

Hi,
We need to write a report which will run on production and find the import user certain transports.
I know how to obtain the user who released the transport (in E070), and
I am aware that the transport history in transaction STMS shows the actual import user, but I have not been able to find the table/function module that will return this information to be used in my program.
Does anyone know how to obtain the import user for a transport?

The function module which is behind the <i>Transport History</i> button is:
- TMS_TM_GET_HISTORY
Call this function module using the following parameters:
IV_SYSTEM = <sysid> " e.g. E01
IV_DOMAIN = DOMAIN_<sysid> " e.g. DOMAIN_E01
and set values for CV_START_DATE and CV_END_DATE. I believe the functions of the other IMPORTING parameters are quite obvious.
In addition to this function module have a look at threads:

There you will find another interesting function module (<b>TR_READ_GLOBAL_INFO_OF_REQUEST</b>) described.

Numbers '09 2.1 - setting import delimiter for .txt or .rtf

Hi there -
I have a series of text files with leading numbers that I'd like to remove. The files are lists, where each line is enumerated sequentially & these line-numbers have to be removed for further processing.
This is too painful to do manually (takes forever), but the content is not in English and so Excel, which allows me to set the delimited & correctly parses the information, doesn't read the content properly (even after copy paste into a word processor that usually does) whereas Pages will handle the content, but for the life of me I can't get it to parse the information - so it's effectively useless.
The other threads I've read basically suggest that one has to manually insert tabs between the fields - is this actually the case? Is there really no way to control how Pages '09 parses imported data?
As a final add-on: I know this would be relatively easy to do with a script, but I havne't a clue where to get started with scripting for the Mac, so if you read this & have a suggestion as to where I might get started (generally, or w.r.t. this particular project), I would very much appreciate the enlightenment.

If the leading numbers are separated from the rest of lines by space character, you file is not a tab delimited one.
If a file whose name ends with .txt is a tab delimited one, it may be opened by Numbers with no problem.
If its name ends with .csv, thingsa re more complicated.
If the system use the period as decimal separator, the values MUST be separated by commas
but
if the system use the comma as decimal separator, the values MUST be separated by semi-colons.
I have a possible understanding of your problem.
Maybe values are separated by single or several spaces which is the awful format used in the typewriter era.
I guess that with this structure, Excel use its knowledge of English language to split the lines.
As I don't like to work in the Terminal, I wrote a short script achieving what you described.

From where can I import skins for my project

I think they are all still there. You just have to dig around
to see them all as the page is sorta funky (my opinion). You have
to click the links at the top to view the skin categories of Basic
(where we see 13 skins listed) Holiday (where 3 are listed) and
Graphical (where 47 are listed). So assuming that all are unique
and not repeated across categories, I would count 63 skins.
BTW, why does the page you linked to stop with only verbiage?
I'm not seeing skins listed there.

Hi Dieter,
now it gets a little bit tricky. The settings you described are the default settings from SAP which are not wrong but perhaps not the best. If you check your business partners against your Sanction Party List and you will probably have a lots of unnecessarily blocks. Now its your task to get a feeling for the settings especially for the N1 Name entry to get a reasonable result after checking your BPs
There is no recommended figure for the percentage cause its differs from company to company.
Talk with the responsible person of this division and I`m sure togehter you wil find an appropriate solution.

thanks to all for your suggestions.
After selecting the cube and if you see the Load Type in operator properties, it has onlyLOAD/REMOVE options.
The other way I found to update the cube values is, mapping -> configure -> Runtime Parameter -> Default Operating Mode ... it should be selected as "Row based".
Why I need to update cube is, if I add a column to cube and want to update that column alone for all the rows with a transformation rule from source.

EMIGALL Distributed Import Job for BP is getting cancelled in background

Hi,
When I'm restarting Distributed import and it's getting cancelled after some time with system error as "internal lock table overflow".
I checked SM12 (while job was running) it's showing 14,000 - 15,000 locks on table BUT000, even though EMIGALL is not updating that table as it's rerun of the old job. (Old job been cancelled due to network issue.).
Can anybody please help me to understand why it's happening?

Hi Sagar,
I think I can explain what happened in your system:
During data migration the application encountered many errors and does not release the locks immediately. Remember: it is not the slave jobs that creates locks but the called application (through the service functio module). If the application enncounters an error (also when the business object cannot be locked due to a lock table overflow) it returns the error and the load program writes it to the error log. The saved error message is not always directly related to the lock table overflow situation. Often it is saying: object already locked by user xxx).
The master jobs uses also locks to block the configuration of its profile against concurrent access (exclusive access). If a user blocks the profile temporarily during an update of the profile, the master job waits until the update operation finishes. This last usually only very few ms. If the master encounteres a 'lock table overflow' situation it cancels - as designed be the developer.
The simple solution is that you should avoid a lock table overflow situation and/or that the lock table must not be too small.
Sagar, I might also be that you find also the error 'lock table overflow' in the system log. Please check.

Where is the import option for "Start a new clip at each scene break" in iMovie 2013?

I am currently in the process of importing several mini-DV tapes via firewire into iMovie 2013. I have the most recent version of iMovie and am using a Sony Handycam to facilitate the transfer. The problem I am having is that when I hit import, iMovie splits what is supposed to be a single scene into multiple scenes ranging anywhere from a second to 5 minutes. I am left with several scene chunks that I cannot combine into one. I did a little research and found that iMovie is probably deinterlacing my scenes as it mistakes them for multiple scene breaks. In the older iMovie options, all I had to do was to go to "Preferences" -> "Import" -> then deselect "Start a new clip at each scene break". However, this option doesn't appear to be available in iMovie 2013. Is there a way I can force iMovie 2013 to import a single scene from my mini-DV camcorder without breaking it into multiple clips? Thanks!

1st : this is the wrong forum, this is iMovie for ipod/iphone and ipad ( iOS is the OSX mobile Operating System )
2nd : iMovie 11 is the current OSX version. iMovie 06 was the last of its kind, all newer, including iMovie 09 have complete new workflow, so functions of 06 are gone and have replaced with others.
